[APP][Pro]MOES - Unlock full potential of your MOES Zigbee devices

Hi SoPhos,

Device added; initial tests performed, and everything is working correctly.
Thanks for adding the device.

Sorry but the zigbee finger bot still doesn’t work. It pairs and adds first time. But triggering the button on the device card just sits at on, but doesn’t push and release the finger bot. And the battery status isn’t displayed. It doesn’t seem to he talking to the finger bot after pairing.

Hi Drako74,

I got your Diagnostic logs and correct missing code.
Can you test new 1.11.5 version for Smart Fingerbot Plus (ZS-FB-V3-MS) and tell me, please?

Regards,
SoPhos

Hi SoPhos,

Yesterday I had a double execution event again. Forgot to create a diagnostic report immediately. I just created the report. The event took place at 20:54:14/15. First the switch off event, directly followed by a switch on event:

Diagnostic report: dabae4ec-0ddc-40a6-b9c6-caf145a974bf

I hope the report provides you some more insight.

Hi ,

Here are the full (simplified) period logs :

2026-10-14T18:54:14.575Z >> Button  1  ->  single
2026-10-14T18:54:14.576Z >> sensor_lastclicdate 14-10-26 20:54:14
2026-10-14T18:54:14.577Z >> sensor_lastaction 1 Click
2026-10-14T18:54:14.578Z >> sensor_lastbutton 1
2026-10-14T18:54:14.578Z Firing trigger for button 1 (single)
2026-10-14T18:54:15.570Z >> Button  1  ->  single
2026-10-14T18:54:15.571Z >> sensor_lastclicdate 14-10-26 20:54:15
2026-10-14T18:54:15.572Z >> sensor_lastaction 1 Click
2026-10-14T18:54:15.573Z >> sensor_lastbutton 1
2026-10-14T18:54:15.573Z Firing trigger for button 1 (single)
2026-10-14T18:54:16.995Z >> Button  2  ->  single
2026-10-14T18:54:16.996Z >> sensor_lastclicdate 14-10-26 20:54:16
2026-10-14T18:54:16.997Z >> sensor_lastaction 1 Click
2026-10-14T18:54:16.997Z >> sensor_lastbutton 2
2026-10-14T18:54:16.998Z Firing trigger for button 2 (single)

Regarding your logs, the only thing I see is :

  • 20:54:14 → Button 1 Click
  • 20:54:15 → Button 1 Click
  • 20:54:16 → Button 2 Click

It seems that you clicked on the second button after clicking on the first one. Is this correct ?
If yes and you did not press 2 times on button 1, the click on second button is the only thing I see which difers from other logs.
But I can’t see anything in code that could explain this.

To be sure, can you try to click on the first button then immediatly on the second one and control in device insights if 2 clicks has been received or not ?

SoPhos

That is correct. The buttons control a smart plug to which my washer is connected (left button) and my dryer (right button)

  • I pressed the left button once, to switch off the washer. But the command was executed twice. Hence the washer switched off and immediately after switched on again.
  • The second press was on the right button, which switched on the dryer.

I just performed the requested test and both presses (left followed by right) were executed only once.

Hi SunBeech,

Ok, I was pretty sure of that.
Regarding further, it cannot be an App problem because Homey received clearly 2 Zigbee network frames indicating Button 1 has been pressed 2 times with 1 second interval, and then, Button 2.

It seems to be hardware side, maybe bad or poor contact?!
I think you wrote before you have other identical switches. Did you try with one of them?

SoPhos

Hi SoPhos,

Yes I have seven of the 2-button variant. They all show the same behavior. But as it said, it is random and more or less incidental.

If it is a hardware thing, then it would be ‘by design’, because it seems highly unlikely that all seven units are defective. Also, before you added support for these scene switches to your app, they were paired to the Tuya Zigbee app for about two years. Back then I did not run into the double trigger behavior.

I did have double triggers on the 4-button variant. But that was with every press, all the time. That was clearly a driver issue and solved. So I thought that a similar behavior in your app (though incidental) with the 2-button variant might be a driver thing as well. It’s a bit of a mystery .

I understand that it is also difficult for you to determine what the cause is.

For know I’ll just keep an eye on it an check whether it becomes more prevalent.

Sorry to jump in, but are they battery powered?
Why I ask, is that I have an ikea remote 5 button, and sometimes when the battery is getting low.
I get some odd behavior like this. It sometimes dim up/down on e.g on/off press

Fair point. Yes they are battery powered. I’ll keep an eye out on that. The reported battery percentages are all 99% or 100%, but I am aware that those numbers are not reliable.

Normally, when the battery gets low, the LED on the pressed button flashes a few times. And when the battery is too low, the LEDs of all buttons flash when I press a button.

I did not yet get any of those signals.

Hi SunBeech,

I really simplify ZT-SY-EU*S-WH-MS device driver for 1, 2 and 4 Gang, removing capabilities “Button x”.

These one were unusable as you have “Last action” capability on device and it’s the only way I see to generate a double click (but should be systematic).

Please try the new 1.11.6 App test version :

SoPhos

Hi SoPhos, Thanks for your efforts :+1:. I have updated the app and I’ll keep an eye out for any double executions.
