Thanks for the special version ( ) and sorry that the log did not gave you any clues. Good to read that your wife enjoyed the test .
I was trying all switches to check if I could trigger the situation. That is what you see in the log:
I tried one button on three different switches. The first two worked as expected. The first two entries in the log represent these presses.
Pressing the button on the third switch causes the double execution. The last two entries represent the double execution: it resulted in an execution at seconds 43 and 44, same as what was logged in the Simple (Sys) Log app I use.
I understand your rationale that it may indicate a physical switch issue. The thing is that this happens incidentally on all 7 scene switches I have, so it would be strange if all switches are failing at once.
I’ll send you a new report once the double execution happens again.
Not the Bluetooth version, the Zigbee version (at least that was the page link I copied to post, unless their site doesn’t differentiate… my bad I should have stated it was the Zigbee version, sorry)
Yes, I can give a try, no problem.
I’ve already cooked it but now, I’ll only need your manufacturerName and productId to integer them in the new testing driver.
Just for your information, Bluetooth version should also be supported via a Tuya Bluetooth gateway and the official Tuya app. Tuya Bluetooth gateways are cheap on AliExpress
Thank you, but I don’t want any Bluetooth devices if I can avoid them, would rather stick to Zigbee and Thread as much as possible, and WiFi where I can’t (I realise BLE is used for Matter pairing process, but that is only for pairing).
Detected and added seemingly fine first time. But the push button doesn’t trigger the action at all. And the battery level or any other detail isn’t reported on the device card in Homey or the Advanced Settings. Tried a Repair & re-add no change.
