I use a gateway, and in the meantime I have done some tests and it appears that if the value of the third party is correct, the sensor also indicates this. So problem solved
I just received my ecowitt WS2910 weather station.
I installed it and I can access it via the ecowitt app on my phone, it is connected to my local network (same subnet etc) and has a internet connection.
How do add this to Homey now?
Ofcourse I download and installed the app on my Homey, but then I am stuck…
There is no settings page for this app to enter anything.
When I add a device (choose gateway or weather station) it finds nothing, also no option to enter anything manually.
In the ecowitt app I also cannot find any settings for adding etc..
So I am little stuck now, how do I add this into Homey?
I think all youre ansers are in the starting post from this topic
As @qawsedrf57 said, the first post in this topic provides instructions to set-up the gateway.
I needed to reload the page in Homey, then the settings page came visible…
Hi
Truly great app. Really happy with it! If I may wish something is the possibility to choose between Heat index and Humidex for the feel like temperature.
Also, the alarm for raining don’t seems to reset. It has not been raining for over 130 hours, but it still says raining. I have the WS90 with the 2000 gateway.
Keep up the great work!
Could you open the app settings page and select the Detected tab, then tap on Send Log.
Log sent. Please let me know if you need any more information. I think the timestamp was 2025-07-23+06:59:55.
I think I can see an issue but will investigate tonight.
I have published a new test version.
Thank you very much! Issue seems to be solved. I can see the new parameter (srain_piezo in the json log and the alarm says “no” now. Awesome work!
i use the isol and ecowitt app for my wheater station a ventus W830 but i only see the data from the outside unit back at homey.
Is there a way i can use data from the inside unit as wel because then i can use i as a humidity and temperatur sensor? (now i have a aqara t1 sensor in the room right next to the unit from the w830)
hello,
thanks, i did not know i need to ad it as a differnt device.
i did ad it as gateway and now it works.
I have this gateway GW2000 IOT Wi-Fi Hub - Is that compatible - I triede the first post guide, but with no luck.
Yep, it’s compatible, that’s one of the gateways that I have.
Is it on the same lan as Homey?
ahhh damn
My Homey is on my home vlan and the Ecowitt is on my IOT VLAN - Is there an easy way to change that - Cant find it in the app, or is it reset and redo ?
Found the web interface - sorry for being stupid - Solved it all. Running now. Thanks a mill.
Can I use Ecowitt draadloze bodemvochtigheidssensor WH51 standalone with this app?
Also already owning a weather station WS2910
The WH51 needs to connect to a gateway and I can’t see that your weather station fits that requirement.
I have published a new test version that has support for the WittFlow WFC01.
