Looks like this new test version is fully working and never crashing!
It’s crashing immediately for with the SIGABRT error upon first sync. This is my first time installing the app and as soon as I restart the app it immediately crashes upon trying to sync for the first time. Submitted a bug report with ID & log.
Looks like my ics file is too large, how do I reduce that?
In the advanced settings of the IcalCalendar app, you can change the time period for which events are synced. But I don’t know if this will fix the issue.
Thanks @runely for this great app!
Because Kalender and Reminders works tightly together in iOS 26 is it possible to get the reminders showing up in your app to? Just wonder because my reminders is already in the kalender app in iOS..
/D
Reminders showing in calendar in iOS is an iOS integration. As far as i know reminders doesn’t expose a public ics url, so no it’s not possible to have reminders showing up in IcalCalendar
I see, thanks for the clarification.
I’ve been having a problem with the “Event starts in nn Minutes/Hours/Days” When trigger card not working at all.
All the other When trigger cards are working fine (Event added, Event changed, Event Starts). And I can sync the calendars fine, without triggering a Synchronisation error. Checking the Event Count on the calendar device card shows the correct number, and the number of events increases on the next sync when I add an event to the calendar.
The only thing I can’t get working is the primary thing I need to use, so I can remind myself to get ready and leave in time to get to an appointment in a couple of hours. Or remind myself 15 hours prior to an all day event (ie 9am the day before) rather than an announcement go off on my smart speakers at midnight.
Please can you assist me with this, I would greatly appreciate your help @runely

If you need me to run any specific tests and/or enable debug logging, let me know.
I’ve just tried the Event starts in xx xx flow card myself by setting it to notify me 1 hour before an event happens, and it works as it should.
Are you sure the flow with the flow card are enabled?
Please enable the log all events as described in the troubleshooting in the first post. Then around 1 minute after the flow should trigger create a diagnostics report and post the report id here
Yes, first thing I double checked.

Sorry, my brain isn’t firing on all cylinders today it would seem, hot weather and lack of sleep. I’d just read you post about testing notify me in 1 hour, and set the wrong time for my test event in 1 hour rather than 2… rerunning the test now.
Re-run test with the correct time, diagnostic report: a8962ae0-c279-40ba-b8ff-1ded1160d99e
Now this is most odd. It hasn’t worked for me for weeks now, on anything other than the Event Starts now trigger. But this specifically run “TEST EVENT” just worked for the Event Starts in 2 Hours trigger. And I swear I haven’t made a single change to any of my calendar Flows. The only change I made was to the settings of the app, to enable the debug logging (oh and I manually ran my calendar sync events Flow because I was too impatient to wait 10 minutes for it to sync).
Very strange it worked this time, but I haven’t been able to get it to work for a good few weeks prior. I’ve added some additional SysLog output to some of my Flows, and I’ll monitor it over the coming week for non-test case events. And I guess let you know if I still have a problem or not.
Thank you for your time, my apologies good sir.
