[App][Pro] Homey EMS (HEMS): Smart EMS

check latest test version

Looking good, thanks!

Small update incomming.
It now exposes a solar to car energy meter. Finally know how much power that went into your car is pure solar. At the end of the month you can say that you drove 90% of the time on pure solar for example
Also some tweaks to the EMS decision widget on the car leaving/home timeline

My battery stopped discharging at 30 % is there a way to let it discharge to 10 %?

Its a control I ment, its one of the two sliders so you can link it into flows.
I keep it at 30% as house island mode safety, if power goes out I at least have some time left. But you can use flows to make it more dynamic. Or just put it lower for you liking.

I don’t really understand. Am I able to change the battery floor with a flow card? Do it overrule it’s own decision?

I can’t seem to find a slider or setting. I’ve added the smart ems again and set the percentages again but it doesn’t seem to trickle through.

I really appreciate your work and reply.

App works like a charm.

This one, battery backup min
What strategy did you use?

Net zero ems

ok, it should be there, did you check?

I’ve got this. It shows 3000%?

yeah that is it, since its the only one in that strategy homey doesnt show the name, but it indeed is that slider. Move it to 1000%
Yes the formatting is not nicely devided by 100%. Ill see if I can fix that without breaking anything

Thank you for clarifying will test this tonight

Set it to 500% still not under 30% :frowning:

Bug lcoated thanks to your diagnostic report. Indeed changing te slider did not trigger updating my memory cache, a patch is now on test that solves this. Changing any setting would update the memory object with your selected slider value.
So caching issue :frowning:

I’m having trouble because my inverter is too old and doesn’t show up in Homey. However, I can read the generated electricity via the battery (myenergi). Is there a way to use this for Smart EMS?

What inverter is that?
An option would be to create a homey advanced virtual device (other app) it can reflect measurements from other devices, if you create one of the inverter type it would show up in the SmartEMS

Is a KOSTAL Piko 7.0. quite old I think.

I got the idea with the virtual devices yesterday too. I’ve only the momentary solar power that I can get from other devices yet, but then working to get more information.

Dag Vincent,

Mvg

Henry

We try to keep the forum in English so please continue this discussion in English.

But they are shown as available so that means you should be able to link the in the battery section of the repair wizard in de grid_aware ems device. Try that and send me the screenshots on how you set it up. Use a DM for that. Next also send me a diagnostic report if they still dont show up in the widgets. The empty widget suggests you did not link and configure them on the grid_aware device directly.

I just installed this, but something seems off:

NO DESTINATION: available=3334W, no battery bound and EV not a sink → grid export

Even though at the same time, the car is now charging at 11 kW and importing from the grid and discharging the battery. Car is at ~60% (target 100%).

Expected behavior: car charging should occur without the battery discharging and without grid import.

What am I missing?
