[APP][Pro] Homesh Controller & Homesh Satellite - Connect Homey Pro 2023 to Homey Pro for Led, Speaker, Zwave(satellite) and network resource

Are you sure you (pressed) saved the flow on the satellite?

The Flow is there

And also “paired” satellite and controller with PIN-code?

yes, i have the other THEN cards

You are using the wrong Then-Flowcard.

You need to use the Start[triggername] from the Satellite device on the controller.

In the flow on the satellite, use a When card from the Homesh app.

@Arie_J_Godschalk When I install a new version of the firmware on my HP23 I always have to insert the number of the satellite in the app to connect it again with my HP19.
Is that how it should behave?

You mean the pincode?
If so, no that should not be.

Yes, i mean the pin code.

No, it shouldn’t.
But it doesn’t sound like an app issue, but something with Homey.

All i can think about is reinstall the homesh app and see if that helps.

What happends if you dont tepair/re-enter the pincode? The satellite, does it say, not available?

I will reinstall the app again this week and see what happens then.

After an update I get to see an exclamation mark in the controller icon.
After entering the pin code for the sattelite it also works immediately again.

Just noticed a new app.
That seems to offer more or less the same functionality.

Did anyone already try it? And find some pro/cons?

No i didnt know and havent tried it yet (my hp2019 is offline still (on purposes) ).
But i am very curious to hear how it works!

I was curious as well, but I have to wait for a fix I’m afraid:

Hello Arie,

I ask for an improvement on your Homesh Controller APP.

The request is if it can be possible to use the repair function in the Controller part by a flowcard in which could be possible to put the PIN code of the Satellite part in order to repair it automatically by a flow.

Since in some cases the Controller loses the connection to Satellite it will be useful to have the possibiity to repair it without to put manually the PIN code in Controller side.

What do you think about?

I don’t believe repair can be starten with a flowcard. The question is, why does the controller become unavailable?

Because when the decide becomes unavailable, I believe flowcards stop working.

Hi,

Yes it becomes unavailable but it happens when my HPE 2019 loses Wifi connection for a while after my router restart. It doesn’t happen on every router restart but in some cases only. In that cases (also if the HPE 2019 regains Wifi connection and Homesh Controller APP is active) I have to put the PIN manually

If the connection is lost, and you restart the Homesh app, doesn’t it reconnect automaticly?

No, it doesn’t

to be more precise I don’t know exactly how it happens. For sure it happens when or the Controller or the Satellite APP lose LAN/WiFi connections (I am using the Controller and Satellite APPs reciprocally by having them both installed and configured on my HPE2109 and HPE2023, both are Controller and Satellite for each other).

But the problem appears sometime on the Controller side on my HPE2019, never on the Controller side on my HPE2023
