[APP][Pro] Heatit Controls app [v3.8.5]

The Heatit app crashed after the latest update 3.6.4 on Homey Bridge with this error message: Not Found (MongoDB): AppSettings with ID no.thermofloor

Tried to create a Diagnostic Report, but get this error message: Heatit Controls is temporarily unavailable, it will be back shortly.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Hi all,

I have a Z-TRM2fx thermostat for the floor heating in our bathroom. I recently bought a Homey Pro 2023 and Iā€™ve added a couple of Fibaro device without ant problems but adding the thermostat has proven to be challenging.

Iā€™ve tried using the Heatit Controls app (v3.6.4) and also using Z-Wave to add the thermostat but with no luck so far. The paring process keeps failing as the thermostat isnā€™t picked in Homey when the thermostat is in ā€œConā€ mode and the process ends with ā€œErrā€ on the thermostat display each time.

At first I thought it might be the distance so I placed the Homey Pro in the bathroom but this also didnā€™t help.

Does anyone have an idea what the issue could be?

Has it started working again?

You could try to factory reset your thermostats.
This can be done by holding the center and right button for 20 seconds.

Yes, but I had to delete the app from Homey and factory reset the z-water 2 device.

Iā€™ve performed a factory reset of the thermostat and now adding it to Homey has succeeded. Thanks!

[SOLVED]
I canā€™t add my Z-TRM6.
Tried moving my Homey right next to it.
Done factory reset twice.
Seems like I get past the first step. But it just spins until it says ERR.

Solution:
If you see that step 1 has completed within your gateway, but the thermostat still shows it is in configuration mode, you can cancel the configuration mode by holding the center button again.
After you cancelled it, you need to start it again to proceed with step 2.

Hi!
I wanted to understand how the scene functionality is supposed to work.

We were doing some changes at a friend of mine, and he mentioned he never uses the double click for 100% functionality.

So I figured, we could rather change it so it activates flows instead. But after changing it to be a scene button, it no longer works as a normal light switch?!

So we could activate a flow with double-press etc, but Iā€™d expect it to still turn the light on/off when single clicking.
Is that not the intention?

For one of my thermostats, I had the same issue. I moved the Homey to and outlet on the other side of the wall. It has basically 10-20cm away and it worked.

For all the others, theyā€™ve easily been included two floors down and 3 rooms out.

Hi,

Yes, that is how it was supposed to work.

Based on user feedback, this has been changed and devices sold now still turn on and off when clicking the button even if it has been set to scene mode.

Hi.
Did the upgrade of FW fix problem 2?

So far yes, but it has only been a couple of weeks so itā€™s too soon to celebrate  Do you have the same problem? If so I think itā€™s important to let the @HeatitControlsAB team know since they said they had never heard of it beforeā€¦

I was the one that asked about it earlier. I even had a round of email back and forth with no solution, so they should be aware of the problem. At the end I just gave it up. So need check my thermostats. Would be nice if there is a fix now. But then I need to buy something to get the FW updatedā€¦

Ah sorry, didnā€™t catch that.
Anyways, Iā€™ll keep you posted if it happens again.

Hi, I am using the Heatit ZM Single Relay 16A to control heat sources on a large scale and rely on the ability to classify the relays as heaters for my automation logic. As of today, I have noticed that new inclusions lack this feature, and I suspect that it may have been disabled for some reason. I highly depend on this functionality and kindly request that you re-enable this option.

(I have also submitted this request through your ticketing system.)

Hi.
I have a z-water 2 and are trying to change settings on the tile for the relays, but get error ā€œfailed_to_set_ ā€¦ā€. If I change setting on the tile for the regulator itself it works.

Hi,

This is how it works on Homey as far as I know.
Parameters and associations have to be set from the main device.

Hi,

This might be due to the reclassification from relay devices being ā€œWall plugsā€ to being ā€œOtherā€.

What within your automation depends on them being classified as heaters?

Is there any way I could update the firmware on mine so that they as well work like this?
Iā€™d love the scene functionality, but I donā€™t want the lights to not work if Homey is down.

Unfortunately, this isnā€™t an OTA and has to be done by us by wire.
If you contact us at post@heatit.com weā€™ll see what we can do for you.
