This is done from the potentiometer on the device itself

Currently, Z-Wave does not support any power regulator mode. This is why we have made it as a parameter as a sort of work around.
We will see if we are able to make the rotary wheel be the power regulator, but I doubt this is possible without Homey releasing this as an update.

Hi. I have installed my first Z-TRM6 thermostat, and wondering if the below picture with only three Tiles is correct? I would like to see more information including temp from all connected sensors, setpoint temperature etc. etc. Yes, setpoint and the temperature from the selected sensor is displayed on the first Tab/page, but stillā€¦

Also, where can I see when the thermostat firmware was updated last time?

It looks the same as with my TRM6 thermostats.
The TRM6 looks different than the TRM-2fx thermostats, 2fx has a lot more functionality/information.
As for now, the TRM6 canā€™t be set to ECO mode either, the 2fx has this possibility in Homey.

It looks that the implementation of the TRM6 is not finished, I hope Heatit will speed up the implementation.

FW version is found under settings, mine has FW 1.0.2.5

Any ideas of why this flow isnā€™t working?

Hopefully, the app will be updated soon to offer more services. Any who knows of a thermostat that can act as a timer control? I have some outdoor heating cables controlled by a timer control today and would like to replace with Smart timer control (z-wave or Zigbee).

Unless it was a coincidence, it works when adjusting the setting of the rotary wheel behaviour to ā€œscene controller functionā€. Is it possible to do both at the same time, that is, let me use the push button for on/off without going through flows, and at the same time use flows, e.g. trigger a flow when the button is held down?

A workaround is to set flows for button presses, but that gives me a 1-second delay. Not much, bet enough to irritate.

Iā€™m experiencing very slow reaction on my Z-Wave network, the z-push wall controller especially.

As almost all my devices are HeatIt, Iā€™m choosing to link my Thread here:

If anyone has seen anything similar, especially with HeatIt devices, I would love to know what can be done to fix it.

You are correct in your assumptions, the Z-TRM6 integration is not finished. We weā€™re having some issues and chose to launch it so it worked while we continued development on it.

To be able to use both at the same time you need an alternate firmware for the device which.

Which model of our thermostats do you use?
Our TRM3 and older models have quite frequent temperature and wattage reporting interval which you could reduce.
Have you also checked the Homey Developer Tools page to see if you have any unknown nodes?

Hi! All devices are Z-Trm3 and Z-Dim2 and Z-push. I also have one of those older 4 button panels.
All settings are default, except changing some settings for dimming lights on thermostat display.

Currently no unknown device, but there is one Fibaro that is currently offline, which Iā€™m testing but havenā€™t installed quite yet.

This is the z-push wall thatā€™s slowest.

Is it normal to be marked as offline if not used in a few hours?

Edit: So I guess this is because that device is not updating status by default. I changed it so it updates every 3600s like the rest of the battery operated devices.

I have changed all my updates to be 900 seconds, instead of the default 90 and 300 on thermostat f.ex.
Still no change in behavior, but Iā€™ll have to see over time. Especially ā€œturn all lights offā€ flow.

Now - I did actually figure out something with Z-Push Wall Controller:
Iā€™m using it in a 3 button configuration. Left has direct association and works as expected (about 1 second delay). Middle is activating a flow, 8 second delay. Right is activating a simple ā€œpush notification flowā€ - 1 second delay (expected).
But if I move the middle button flow, which takes 8 seconds to activate, over to the right button - it works with just 1 second delay!

I tried moving it back to the middle button, same issue.
So as of now, it seems like the middle button has a ~5-8 second delay before activating anything in Homey, but the right works as normal.

How does this make any sense? Itā€™s the same device!

You could check with Homey support and ask them if they can see any reason for the delay.

This is not something Iā€™ve ever seen before. Could you try to factory reset the device and include it again? Canā€™t really see any reason for one of the buttons to have a larger delay.

Yeah, very strange behavior. I did some more tests, and can confirm that only the middle button does this.

Iā€™ll try reset and re-including it.

We donā€™t have an estimate yet.
To get all the modes and functions to work is more difficult than we initially realized.

Hi there. I am using the Z-TRM6 in regulator mode, and I have not yet added it to Homey as I am unsure how it will behave. Can I safely add it to be able to monitor its energy, and nothing else for now? Thanks.

You can add it, you just canā€™t easily adjust the regulator percentage. You will, however, be able to see the power consumption just fine.
