@Davied
Did you use the HLS card? And a stream webpage with Chromecast?

I copied your example flow.

i needed to delay the cast flow card with a few seconds, i guess it can take a few seconds for the stream to start.

I got the same problem.

Also on Chromecast? that might be good news actually, i expected the issue to be on the Hub, but maybe it’s a software issue then

@martijnpoppen will probably find and fix it very quickly :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ll look into it. I have a Phillips Android TV and it works well.

Can somebody try to stream it as a video? Maybe that works

If you want to check if your HLS URL is working you can put IT in in this site: vue-videojs-demo

Oh yeah, this site is working with the link!
But not on the nest hub, streamed as an video.

Alright. And what about this URL:

https://multiplatform-f.akamaihd.net/i/multi/will/bunny/big_buck_bunny_,640x360_400,640x360_700,640x360_1000,950x540_1500,.f4v.csmil/master.m3u8

Just figuring out if it’s the format or something else

Same issue, also with the rotating homey logo. Loaded as an webpage. Video is not working.

Alright! Will check some things

BTW: Im running version 5.1.1 of Google Chromecast Homey app

Cool, thank you Martijn!

I use the same version

Can you share the first part of the URL? So no need to send the part after /hls.

http://p2p-vir-8.eufylife.com/hls

I found there’s a strict policy on streaming to Chromecast. So Chromecast can only get urls which are allowed

My URL is on vir-7:

http://p2p-vir-7.eufylife.com/hls/HIDDEN.m3u8?time=1628026785&token=HIDDEN

Not sure if it matters. But the URL from @Chris_nl also was on vir-8.

Can you see a stream If you change your URL to vir-7

Hmmm, it’s not accepted. Also the nest hub isn’t doing something with this link.

Oh strange, for me it was working on that website.
Also on android tv

I found something else, but i can’t get that to work on Android TV either.

Probably a stupid question; but my doorbell doesn’t seem to catch any event; no motion alarm, no motion detected, no person detected, no background motion. Doorbell press and temp. are fine though. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Hey @Peter_Post1 ,

Did you check the FAQ Q1?

I did say that it was probably a stupid question, right? Did read the FAQ but not all to good as it turns out… Thanks Martijn :kissing_closed_eyes:
