@AoP @Sibren_ter_Hove see above
First of all. Thank you for all the work on this issue. I hope that at some point Eufy will officially support your work, but I think their goal is to keep you in their ecosystem.
Does your last reply mean that my diagnostic report was incorrectly sent in or do you mean that you hope this new version will fix the issue? Either way, I will try it out.
@AoP sorry, my last post was a refer to the app update which contains a fix for the error i saw in your report ![]()
This touches Eufy Cleand and Eufy Security

In short: Eufy is moving everything to their new “Mega” platform and switching off the old system this app uses. The app is now in maintenance mode — I’ll keep the essentials alive, but new development is moving to a new Eufy Mega integration. Notifications and event images are currently unreliable, and that’s on Eufy’s side, not something I can fully fix here.
Why the app is in maintenance mode?
Eufy is migrating their ecosystem to the newer “Mega” platform (the 5-in-1 app) and phasing out the older APIs this app was built on.
What that means going forward:
- I’ll keep the bare minimum working for as long as the old APIs stay alive.
- I won’t be adding new features to this app — the foundation it’s built on is being deprecated.
- The real work is moving to a new library built around Eufy Mega. Once it’s ready, that’s where development continues.
Thanks for the patience ![]()
Notifications — hit or miss right now"
Some of you get notifications, some don’t, and it’s genuinely inconsistent. The app currently runs a hybrid of Eufy’s old and new systems, so notifications can be unreliable no matter which side your account is on — there’s no guarantee either way.
The migration happens entirely on Eufy’s side. We can’t trigger it, it’s not tied to updating the app, and we can’t predict when or how they move an account. If yours stopped, it’s likely caught between the old system being switched off and the new one not yet active.
For now this is about as stable as it gets. Reliable notifications will come with the new Mega integration.
If you’re hitting notification, image or stream problems, the sections above are almost certainly the cause — no need to open a new report. ![]()
Completely understandable. Hopefully, you will have a good API to work with or could we dream official support for Homey. What I noticed in the current solution is that there doesn’t seem to be a way to start a cleaning session manually or am I missing something?
@AoP I’m afraid the new solution will be less than current.
There are flow cards to start a manual session. That’s like the main feature of this app
The Robavac 30C.
@SCLS79 reproduce the issue and please send a diagnostic report afterwards
There is no issue, it just doesn’t find it. That one is located in the Eufy Clean app while the rest is in the Security app.
@SCLS79 issue or not, it doesn’t find it. so please reproduce that and send a diagnostic report

@SCLS79 do you use the same account in both apps?
Stupid, that must be it!
Invited the ‘guest account’ to join now. Waiting fot the email to confirm.
@SCLS79 can you restart the app and try again, this makes sure i get a clean log so can see what’s going on
Already tried that. Second time now. No luck!

@SCLS79 i don’t see it either in the API response. It’s hard to debug like this. Are you willing to share the device with me as well so i can check?
Sure! DM your email…
