[APP][Pro] Easee charger - Small. Smart. Full of power

@Richard_B I know you handed over the maintenance/ownership, but you might know/have som insight anyway?
My equaliser have stopped report to homey since 2-3days, works fine In Easse “iOS” app.
403 error in eventlogs for homey app. Any ideas or knowledge?

Acitonlist so for:
Restarted Equalizer
Restarted Homey
Restarted Easee App
Reparied Equalizer device in Homey.
Downgraded to stable release (only available at the moment)

Same issue here , easee updated their app and looks like their API …

Same for me

Same problem here, done what you have done but no success.

Also having issues, Easee reverts back to offline-power settings and unable to control power setting via Homey.

Working again!

Does this also work with charging from solar surplus alone as well?

Yes, for sure.

In that case just stop charging for all calculated current values below 6A. (Cars do not start charging below 6A, so if Surplus <6A you need to “add” from the net or stop charging.

PS: the charger can only be adjusted in steps of 1A so you will always have a bandwith of +/-220W (220V x 1A = 220W) that you cannot control.

I using the “ceil” function (so always rouding up), but you can also choose to use the “round” or “floor” function for rounding

Thank you, does this work with every Easee charger? I have the charge up currently

According to this post they should all be supported

Anyone else having Issues with this? I have one flow for smart charging but having difficulties to have the flow triggered or not triggered as soon as charging starts. From what I can find out the only status now is charging and not charging/paused? Anyone that have investigated this and have some input what to use?

no, most statues work fine except connected /disconnected. If you put dynamic power down to 0A it will pause. Setting it to 4A will set status to waiting for smart charging. Anything above 6A it will charge

What is it you’re trying to do with you flows?

I have a flow that I want to start when charger i connected, now I use When charging starts instead but that means the flow also starts after a paus, either a paus between two quarters or a paus from gridbalance. When charger is paused I want to restart battery. Perhaps I have to control from power instead

Ok so you want a flow to start when the car starts charging?

Charger status changed to … Charging or paused should work. When nothing is connected it will be in standby.

I recently installed a Easee Home to charge my car and my wife her car.

Previous I would charge my car at work or at the end of the street.

My wife her hybrid used her own charger.

My wife would, most of the time, forget to start her charger so I used a flow to automatic start her Homewizard plug which would start her charger 5 min. after she would come home.

I’m wondering if I can do the same with my Easee?

No one else can use my Easee as it is on private property, My wife and I can start it with a Mifare-tag.

I have set some Advanced flows but they seem not to be working atm. and I’m wondering what I’m missing?

I also want to set a “Stop charging” flow to switch of the Easee when charging is done.

This is my “Easy - On” flow;

This is my “Easee - Off” flow;

Any help is much appreciated!

Solved!

Hi,

Since today, September 1st 2026, the Easee app in Homey seems to have stopped receiving data from my Easee Equalizer.

In the app diagnostics/log I can see repeated HTTP 403 errors approximately every 15 seconds for this endpoint:

GET /api/equalizers/QHAQ2LWW/state

Example:

403 - get:/api/equalizers/QHAQ2LWW/state

This started exactly on September 1st.

As far as I understand, Easee has deprecated/removed the old Equalizer state endpoint and replaced it with the newer observations API.

Could the Homey Easee app still be using the old /api/equalizers/{id}/state endpoint?

The Equalizer itself is online and working normally in the Easee app, so this appears to be related to the Homey integration/API rather than the Equalizer hardware.

Is this a known issue?

Thanks!

Same for me. Following the thread

@Solvik @Mats_Nygren Sorry about that, we are actually working on a fresh update that relies on pushed data instead of polling!

We weren’t aware that the complete endpoint was going to be dropped already yesterday (to be fair, we had some unforeseen delay with the development), so we’ve now pushed a preliminary v2 for you to test with: Easee Home | Homey.

Note that we still need to update the authentication process and we weren’t able to test this with the equalizer ourselves (just with the charger), which is why we’re not ready to make it publicly available yet. But, trying whether this works for you compared with an implementation that is not working at all is obviously better than nothing! Can you let us know whether this version solves the issue you are seeing with the equalizer, and whether the rest remains functional?

Thanks, unfortunately equalizer still don’t work. No update för 19 hours. I have not yet used the charger.
