I’m back to v2.14.9 atm., Arie.
But I’ll install v2.16.0 on my 2nd Homey, and send you the logs after a crash.
Oh, actually I did send you some diag reports somewhere during the last 2 weeks, but didn’t notify you elsewhere.
Will keep you posted.

Yeah no, sending a diag is usually to late.
But when your app crashes, there is a message send to the athom developer log.
And there is not much information in that to know its you, only a app version and the homey version.
So, again
, which HOMEY version do you have installed on the one that crashed?
Oh sorry, I suffer from a “zonnesteek” apparently haha. Homey v12.4.8 - Pro 2019
I’ve a crash report alr.: ea065f8a-422f-436e-b0ed-a1cbffa1ad53;
& Added a Bitbucket issue with new crash report
Hi, I have made two devices (both supposed to be EVs, device class set to car).
They both show up on the energy tab, but without any data.
Do anyone know what the reason could be for it not to register any consumption?
I have a measure_power and meter_power (and also measure_battery and ev_charging_state) capabilities that all works and show data on the device itself.
I’m using the latest v2.16.0 test version without any issues.
(my current RAM consumption is 71.28 MB with six devices, and a handfull of reflections)
Another thing, is there a way to set the electricCar property on the energy object?
I suppose this is so that when data show up in the energy tab, it is not counted twice with the EV charger.
Otherwise thank you for the great app, I have been using it with joy for quite some time ![]()
This might take a day for it to show correctly. Is it now showing it?
No, its actually a few weeks since I made the devices.
But, I’m not sure the problem is with the devices as I also have another “normal device” that used to work, but is now also showing up without data. I believe it happened after an update to that app, but I’m not exactly sure.
Maybe its just the energy tab that needs a bit more love from the devs before everything works.
It is in any case not a problem. As long as there is not option for dynamic pricing on the energy tab yet, its not so useful for me.
Not yet, but is coming.
Than what is it that you are expecting?
Can you share screenshots of your energy tab and show where you would expect something to see?
Because certain new energy settings i just included in the test version about 2 weeks ago.
I was thinking it should show up among the top consumers regardless as long as it has the meter_power capability. But I updated the devices after you released the v2.16.0 version, and added the new energy settings then. Data didn’t register before with previous version either.
On picture below you see they are there in the list, but its not counting kWh despite the capability on the device itself is doing it.
The meter_power capability is configured like this on both devices
I found that if I set the device class to sensor, it register data correctly on the energy tab.
Before I used device class other, and then changed to car when it became available in latest version. Non of those two would make the device register data on the energy tab.
Which field do use if you want to generate a warning? So an exclamation mark as status indicator?
I have a Tuya pump and have identified the messages for no flow and flow and now I want the exclamation mark to appear if the no flow message is sent and obviously disappear when the flow has started again.
You could use a (door/window)alarm, a motion alarm.
I have made a device for showing remaining days to persons birthday, I used text boxes and all of them are available to select manually for status on tile. But I can not select the one I want via flow card. There is only Set status, that require that you have created the status field. Would it be possible to get a card that allows you to Select Status out of those available on the list?
Currently, no.
There is no other way to select which field is shown as status indicator than through the Homey App itself.
Its not yet possible tonset this programaticly (thus i cannot create a flowcard for it yet).
What you could do ofc, is create one extra field which you set as the status indicator, and through flowcards, instead of changing which field is the status indicator, just update the new just-added status indicator field with the value from one of the other fields.
Thanks @Arie_J_Godschalk, I was afraid of that. Your suggestion is the way I had it before with numberfields. But then two fields will show the same value. Was trying to avoid that.
I will see if I go back to the old, or just keep this and add a flow reminder to change status manually the day after one have had birthday…
But why?
You could do this using the textfields.
Just update the text value.
Yes, it’s what I meant, to add a status field. But it is either to manually update the status 5 times a year (for 5 persons) or being anoyed the hole time about two fields with the same value. No big problem, just trigger my ocd… ![]()
Hello guys, after update to the newest test version from June 6th, I have issue with flow functionality - retrieve the insights value from xxx for yyy from x minutes ago. The number is still 0.
Problem solved
I cannot read your flow cards entirely, but since you are trying to get a number in minutes: the first BLL card contains time('M',…). I believe this should be time('m',…). So with a lower case ‘m’. M = months, m = minutes.
