It’s mobile view you’re looking at
Hi, I feeling little bit stupid to ask the following but I’m not able to find the solution. If I want to control the capability of a device that is not a boolean or a percentage what do I have to use?
To changhe, for example, the temperature of a light, i find out i can do only with a slide tool but the tile need to be very big. whitout a slide tool it is not possible to edit the value. shoud be great if it was working like the luminosity that you see in the tile only the percentage and the slide cames out only when you tap on the tile
Is there any way to display the timeline in the dashboard?
Hello @skogsaas, is there any possibility to add in the insights the option to invert the bar/line?
Usage scenario:
Solar production is measured as positive numbers (which is perfectly ok).
But in a statistics view, where power consumption and energy total is added, it is much more intiutive to display solar production as negative numbers (or the other way around, solar as positive and consumption as negative).
Hi guys,
I don’t understand how it is possible to change the color of the background tiles, from this to this for example:
I’d like to switch from white default color to another one, what I can’t figure out.
It is set by your mobile device. If you set your device in dark mode you get the black background.
No, not at the moment, but it’s on the wish list. Considering the lack of updates, I wonder if this is still a live project - @skogsaas?
exactly
This is still an active project, and I’m working on what will be the first official 1.0.0-release. Which is basically why it’s taking a while, because I want it to actually give users something more than they already get with the current version.
And I agree:
Which is why I’m not trying to just add more and more to the current implementation, but instead taking a step back and trying to picture a better solution. Programming is just like an union with multiple layers, but instead of pealing off one layer at the time, you add another layer every time you implement something new. At some point, it’s just big, bloated and rotten in the center. I’m not saying the current version is bad, its just experiencing growing pains
And when it comes to time, a 48-hour day would be lovely! Until someone gifte me one of those time-turner hourglasses Hermione Granger has, I’m limited to the laws of physics
I have a 8-hour day-job where I design and develop systems that should be able to scale across the planet
I have two kids under the age of 2.5 years. Which of the oldest had to be carried everywhere for the last 6 months because she literary had half her body covered in plaster.
I’m currently managing a major digging and construction project that’s been planned for several years
And more or less every night, after putting the kids to bed, doing dishes, cleaning, and any other everyday task that just has to be done. I flip open the computer and try to make some progress on this project
More is coming, I’m just taking my time doing it properly
Hello Skogsaas,
I am volunteer to help with the French translation
When I try to edit the settings, I don’t get any action when I click on the setting symbol. Actually, nothing is responding to any click. It seems like it is frozen/not clickable. Anyone has similar problem? Solution?
EDIT: Same issue in both Chrome and Edge.
Here no problem. Chrome on an iPad.
try to open developer tools / console and look for any errors maybe …
Maybe emptying browser’s cache and force-reload the page will fix it.
Maybe a deleted capability? I had this a while ago and it’s a (reported) bug, but I’m not sure it has been fixed
Same here. Let me know if I can help. I don’t like other solutions, paying up-front and such for something not solid. Let me know.
I did experience this when I had “local” dashboards. They sometimes get corrupt and I had to delete and start over.
I now only have “device” dashboards and it works flawless.
Thank you very much for your beautiful plugin! I’m very happy with it. The only thing that bothers me is the padding around the text. Would it be possible for you to add a sheet where we can add our own CSS settings? That way, you won’t have to do any work, but everyone who can work with CSS will benefit greatly from it.
Hi, I’ve just discovered your dashboard. After having a run with home assistant. But Homey suits my knowledge better. This dashboard suits me well. I’m running it on a echo show 15 and am triggering it with a motion sensor that triggers loading the dashboard through “my page”. The dashboard always starts on the welcome screen. Is there a possibility to skip that, so it automatically loads a/the only dashboard I’m working with?
And! If that’s possible, maybe start it in full screen mode too?
Other than that, its so easy to use and I’m a very happy user after I first discovered this. Thanks for all your effort!
And reactions of other users with creative solutions are welcome too ofcourse
@Theobserver1 for me (browser on desktop) it works to bookmark the complete dashboard URL, which looks like https://homeyboard.github.io/board/?id=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
