First of all thanks for the APP I’ve got a few things already working for the X3-IEAS inverter.
Its seems that Ultra isn’t working and the best results till so far is the G3.
As @Ricardo already mentioned charge and discharge are swapped.
Few others things which I’ve noticed is that few tags are missing for the energy dashboard like:
"meterPowerImportedCapability": null, "meterPowerExportedCapability": null,

I have try to connect my Solax X3, and I was very happy when I reading how to get Token ID and Registration but unfortunately it’s not working anymore. Can someone help me how to connect from Homey to the Solax Cloud with today’s SolaXCloud 7.2.0

I was frustrated by the lack of full battery support and the current inability to use Advanced Virtual Devices to create a “virtual” battery - there is no ability to set the “homeBattery” setting (or the other required energy tab settings).
I have created this tiny app - it’s only function is to receive values from other devices and to act as the homeBattery device on the Energy Tab. It’s nothing clever, but seems to do the job.
It’s currently published as a test app in the Athom app store (I have submitted it for full publication).
You drive the device using the THEN flow card provided by the app. You need a two card flow - here’s my version:

Clicking the Battery legend below the house alternates between net energy, charging energy and discharging energy.

It should be directly accessible through the api.

I double checked token (properly working for the inverter) and serial number.
Hello Michael, thank you for your app and development.
I have just found the 100% data freezer. Every time the homey firmware is updated, app will stop read the data from dongle. I have to reset dongle (actually I reflash the firmware using internet browser) and data are back in app.
@Michal_Stranik, what do you think about this strange behavior? Can you imagine that the problem should be in the app or.. else where? I have confirmed freeze moment, watching this by flows for few months.

It also sound strange, that to fix it, you have to reset dongle.
I would guess that app problem would be fixed by app restart, not dongle reset.

Yes, agree with that app restart should help but unfortunatelly it will not help. Strange, I know..
There is nothing choise, I have to continue in dongle reseting. Flow are watching freezing and after that i remotelly reset dongle. Maybe its dongle fault, who knows.. Thank you

I have an X1 boost/air/mini inverter (xb3) with wifi dongle.
Connected with 2.4g and working in solax cloud. I want to make automations so installed this app which looks great. Gave my x1 a Static IP and tried connecting. Unfortunately it stays offline in homey (modbus problem?). I read about RS485 converters. Is this what I need? My x1 has no ethernet port
I also tried cloud connecting, but it seems that the link for getting the API is not valid. I cannot find any place in the Solaxcloud.com to find the api.
Hope someone can help. I think I will need modbus since I want automations.

regarding modbus, you have to first check, if modbus works for you.
Just run any free modbus program and try to connect to Solax (ask AI how to do it, if you are not sure).
