New version 2.4.0 is available for testing:

  • Add temperature and inverter_efficiency
  • Add measure_current for grid meter
  • Fix/improve solar inverter power and energy mapping
  • Fix grid meter energy mapping
  • Fix local timezone handling
  • Fix/improve NOAH mapping
  • Disregard ghost battery data
  • Adaptive API queueing
  • Fix translations and shorten long titles
  • Fix model naming

This is a pretty big update, so some things might break for you. You might see a on-time jump in energy, and do check your flows if they still do what you wanted!

Grid meter:
Added current per phase for supported systems (inv, min). Also the grid energy mapping is now improved/fixed for some systems.

Solar Inverter:
Much improved capability mapping, but at the cost that you can get a one-time jump in the energy (kWh) value. The mapping will now use the inverter AC side for solar yield when possible. Note that for hybrid inverters this is not always possible, so then you are stuck with only measuring the DC side of things.
Added for inverters is the temperature (inv, min, storage, noah), and the ‘live’ inverter efficiency. This is the DC input power (from solar and/or battery) to AC output power. Note that for some inverters Growatt seems to have ‘hardcoded’ this efficiency to an unrealistic high value (always 98%), and sometimes the AC output is reported even higher than the DC input.

Batteries:
NOAH batteries/solar are now better mapped, and the charging/discharging sign has been fixed.

And already an updated test version 2.5.0:

  • JIT synced polling
  • Fix pairing errors
  • Improve pairing speed
  • Fix target power
  • Cleanup unused device settings
  • Added test suite

This mostly fixes some pairing issues and issues with setting target power (limit) of inverters. But the most important change is that API polling will now automatically sync to when the cloud actually provides new data. This will get data updates much faster; 2.5 minutes faster on average, and noah updates even every minute (untested).

To me it looks like the AC/DC (%) from the last (valid) reading (see screenshot this morning).
Your 0 / 0 makes it difficult :laughing:

Ah, I see, so it’s the residual value from last night when the sun set. It was just to early yet to look at it :wink:
