[APP][Pro&Cloud] frient Zigbee App (v2.5.4)

I lost connection to all Motion Pro sensors after the update 2.6.0.

That should not occur.

To help resolving it (as fast as possible)

  • On which Homey platform does this issue occur?
  • Is there additional information shown when clicking on the red exclamation marks?
  • Can you send an app diagnostics report (homey app > more > apps > Frient > app settings (wrench symbol) > Send diagnostics report?
  • After sending the report, does restarting Homey solve the issue?

It says ‘initialising…’ nothing happens. “Try to repair”
Doesn’t help.
Restarted app, no effect.

Problem with Frient Motion Pro is solved.

After the firmware update of my Homey 2023 (Old V12.2.xxx) New V12.4.0
I was able to repair the devices again.

The issues should be resolved with the v2.6.1 update of the app, already available through:

Looking forward to your feedback that it is actually resolved.

Yes, resolved. Thanks.

Had the same problem, and updated Homey to 2.4.0. However, I am not able to repair devices. Tried reinstalling the app and now nothing is working at all - not able to re-add the devices, just getting a timeout

So it appears that when I try to connect a new device the app uninstalls - I can see it disappear in the app settings

Hi :waving_hand:
Is it a known problem that the EMI Norwegian HAN meter doesn’t actually report energy for the “production” capability?
I have solar panels, but the “Energy produced” capability just reports null.

Hi.

The device will report it only when it’s reported by your home electricity meter.

Are you sure your meter does it?

Good morning :hot_beverage:

Yes, I’m sure. I had a Tibber Pulse that published all the raw messages to a local MQTT broker. And I wrote a Homey App that parsed this. But when the Tibber Pulse died, I bought a Frient instead. So yes, I can confirm that the meter publishes energy readings for both import and export of energy.

Hi all

Just got a Frient Plug Mini 2 and looking at reading it does not look right to me. See screenshot’s and tell me I am not crazy. Is there a way to adjust the readings to make it correct? This is in the less than an hour.

Did you get your penguins a jacuzzi?:joy:

It seems that your plug itself is reporting strange values. What happens if you repair the device via the respective option in the device’s advanced settings?

Jacuzzi would not use that much power
Just tried a repair but no luck, same readings

Maybe you could try asking for help in the dedicated Frient app section of the forum: [APP][Pro&Cloud] frient Zigbee App (v2.5.4)

Whith your chosen username ánd me not being a qualified shrink, i’m unfortunatly unable to answer that question…

but a usage of 120kWh seems a bit much, altough I had an aqara switch that tolde me my IR panel in the bathroom was useing 592kWh once. And no, it wasn’t used as a sauna…

It started giving normal redaouts after some time, not sure was caused or solved it though… Didn’t update the app, guess it was some reboot or PtP…

Hahah good point. Guess I am crazy by default

Thanks. Will give it some time and see what happens. Then might contact them directly.
I have installed Electricity meter and smart plug today and in the last 6 hours total house consumption is about 6kWh but this plug is over a 1mWh so far :joy:
