I tested the (new) toggles from the screenshot and they all work.
Really? Sweet! Good to know the flows work.
How does the UI look? Is it workable, or can I optimize something there?
The UI looks good overall, but in practice I hardly use it. The air conditioner is controlled for 99% through automated flows, so the interface is rarely used manually.
When I compare this UI to another interface for an LG air conditioner, I do see one area where there may be room for improvement. This is the section with the on/off switches (for example: Turned On, Auto Dry, Purifier, etc.).
At the moment, this section uses a pull-down menu. I think it could potentially be made clearer and more user-friendly by placing multiple toggles together on a single page instead. That would improve the overview and make quick manual control easier.
See screenshots below:

I’ve pushed a new version to test! It makes the new settings buttons instead of toggles, so hopefully you’ll see them in the other part of the UI. Let me know how it looks ![]()
The settings buttons look good! I’ve tested them and they work as expected. This is much clearer and more user-friendly. Thanks!
Dear Tammert,
I would like to ask if you have had time to work on the Panasonic topic. The hot summer has started
Can we support you in any way?
Summer already?! Lucky, it’s rainy here ![]()
I’ll take a look soon, I’ll let you know (here) when the test branch with Panasonic is available!
That would be great
Thanks a lot
I will wait for your test branch
Test branch has been updated with Panasonic support! As before, I don’t own any Panasonic devices, so any and all feedback is welcomed
Hi. Any update about the Mitsubishi devices that are unavailable due to the defrost reading issue?
Thanks!
I wasn’t aware of any outstanding issues. Are you running the latest version? If you’ve updated and are encountering issues, feel free to submit a Diagnostics Report and I will take a look.
I did via ProtoArt. He said he informed you about the issues and send the report.
Ah, you meant MHI XY? I’m still waiting on ProtoArt for additional information before I can finish building that in
Yes. That one. Do you need something from me? Otherwise I’ll just wait. ![]()
ClimateControl | Homey test branch now contains code for MHI_XY! Be sure to remove the old device (otherwise it’ll keep trying to run with the ‘normal’ MHI drivers!) and add the new one.
As always, I only own ME’s so any feedback on other brands is highly appreciated
Works! Thank you
