Chipolo app for Homey

Note: the connection state indicated in the Chipolo device is the connection state to your phone. Homey doesn’t connect to your Chipolo devices directly as this would break mobile app functionality.

You can also use this app to ring your phone and view its battery status (you don’t need a Chipolo device for that functionality, only the Chipolo mobile app)

Device support

This app only supports the older Chipolos (One, Card, Classic and maybe the POP series).

Chipolo SPOT and Chipolo Point are NOT supported!

Oops, seems like the app’s polling is a great way to get blocked/rate limited by Cloudflare :slightly_frowning_face:

I’ll have to reduce the polling frequency I think, and maybe also fake the User Agent

  • Fake User Agent and reduced polling frequency to every 15 minutes to avoid IP bans and rate limits by Cloudflare

Just added a fix for Cloudflare’s IP bans, should all be good now.
