I’ve got it right here
Can you send me via DM the RM4 Mini you have ? Or maybe diag. report from the app, I wonder which version you do actually have.
Hello,
Is there a way to use the temperature Information of the broadlink rm4 pro in Homey.
I see the info in the homey status screen of the device, but i don’t see a command in the flows section.
I would like to use it like when the flow is run and the temperature is above 20c then …
How do i do this?
You have variables for that…
Can you give me a hint?
How do i get an and like when the temp is higher as 20c then…
See knowledge base:

Isn’t the difference between the RM4 mini and the RM4C mini that you can connect an (optional) external temp and humidity sensor to the RM4 mini?
dear all! before starting a new post I thought I ask here… I got a few RM 4 minis now to control my aircons and ceiling fans … for most of the aircons the broadlink app on the phone already has a predefined remote available and the set-up was smooth.
If I now connect the RM via the broadlink app on homey, none of the pre-configured remotes is available, just the learning option … is there any way I can transfer the remote configurations i have in the broadlink mobile app, to the homey broadlink app? Or do I have to record all signals one by one?
Thanks for the help, new to this ![]()
Welcome Tobias,
That’s exactly how it should be ![]()
Yes.
It has a (big) advantage: signals to the Broadlink devices don’t need “the cloud”.
(I blocked all DNS requests to Broadlink domains, and it keeps working with Homey)
Thanks! So there is no way to “export” the codes from the phone app to the homey app?
Another point i was wondering - is there any way to export the recorded codes and then use the homey pro to send the signals rather than the broadlink device in some rooms. I have the 2023 homey so it does not have a IR receiver itself, but can send IR signals
the RM4 Mini has a “add-on” cable with temperatur and humidity sensor .. works well in the broadlink app, but I also struggle to get this into the Homey app… should have gone for the pro maybe…
HI, I can’t get my RM4 Mini into Homey anymore. I was able to add the RM4 Mini to the iPhone app without any problems. And it’s visible in my FritzBox as well. But when I try to add it to Homey, it always says it can’t find it. I’ve already tried updating the firmware, but it says it’s up to date (V52079). Then I tried using the link in the first post to v62092, but it gives an error. What else can I do? And yes it is unlocked in the app.
PS: It worked before. But I got a new FritzBox and have to redo everything. And now it doesn’t work anymore.
Please check @ Fritz if “Device Isolation” or “Isolate Member” (something with “isolate”) is disabled.
Else Homey and Broadlink can’t communicate.
Also check if they’re both in the same subnet, f.e. 192.168.1.x and or vLAN.
Device isolation is disabled in the fritsbox. And they’re all on the same subnet.
With the Net Scan app, you can monitor IP adresses / IP’s with portnumber.
When it can’t reach the Broadlink, there’s a network issue, or the IP address you entered for the Broadlink is incorrect. Or the Broadlink is offline.
It worked now. I don’t know what the problem was. But whatever. Thanks.
Hi all.
I have the RM4 Mini and used it for approx 1 Year now , today I wanted to add a remote but it would not read it. Anyone now if there is something wrong with the app ?
It just a remote for some Olsen candles.
Most often the device is LOCKED in the Broadlinks app settings, or sometimes also device restart helps. Otherwise, it works just fine with RM4 MIni. Naturally, check also if you have still valid IP set.
