Would be nice if you would get the RM4 pro to work. Some beers are waiting for you! ![]()
I now have it working with a Tuya device instead of the RM4 pro but it is controlled over the Cloud ![]()

I donāt know the status of my changes to the code, I have not heard of any who has tested it yet, so I bought a rm4 pro device so that I can test my self. I should get the device in the end of next week or so ![]()
Couldnāt help nobody to test rm mini 4 for fkmeland. I havenāt no rm mini 4. But i appreciate that fkmeland helps us to make it compatibel for homey 2023 sdk3
Does anyone know why Homey (still) is not capable to properly copy a 433MHz signal? Isnt the whole purpose of Homey that it can replace all kinds of hubs, like the RM4 Pro? If the RM4 can do it, so should Homey right?
Just wondering if there is a good reason that this is not basic functionality after all these years.
(I tried the Brel app to copy 433Mhz signals but it doesnāt work for me, the RM4 does)
Sorry, but youāll have to ask the manufacturer Support | Homey.
Homey can learn / copy 433 MHz signals afaik, but itās only usable when you write an app for the 433 signals
Hello Peter, that is exact the reply I got from Homey. My point is that (in my opinion at least) copying a 433MHz signal should be basic functionality of the Homey. At least after 7 years of development.
The filosophy behind Homey is that is should replace all hubs, and here we are trying to get devices like RM4 to work with Homey.
I am certainly not a programmer, (so maybe i make a wrong assumption here) but I have the feeling that it should not be difficult for Athom to make this basic functionality and make a lot of users happy.
So it must be a priority thing then ![]()
@Vincent_Vans This is not the place to talk about that problem. Make a new topic or write a mail to athom.
Hi, just wanted to let you know that my RM4 pro device has arrived at the post office, and I will pick it up this weekend, so hopefully I will have a working test with RM4 pro and hopefully other devices this weekend or in the beginning of next week ![]()
Hi fkmeland.
Thank you for your commitment to Broadlink
Wow thatās great news.
I have a HP23 and RM Mini 3 (non-red). Iād be happy to test your work, and donate if it gets working again ![]()
just an idea, can we use mqtt to get the rm4 to send RF commands from HP23?
Hello,
This app is still not running with the new homey pro ? ![]()
Nope.
āNopeā is a bit black/white here ![]()
When youād read a bunch of recent topic posts, youāll see Finn is trying to update the app
Well, per august 16th the app doesnāt work with the new Homey Pro, so ānopeā is the correct answer. I do appreciate efforts made to get this and a multitude of apps currently not working on the newest Homey Pro back to life though.
Whatever, I was replying to Renaud;
ānopeā means in my opinion āneverā, which is, in my opinion not the correct answer for the Broadlink app
Hi, so just a small update, I have setup my RM4 pro to test with, and I have started testing it with homey. Unfortunately I havenāt had much time to look at it yet, hopefully I get an hour or so later tonight.
Good evening.
I have an airconditioner with this wifi module inside.
My router tels me that itās a broadlink device.
Is there any way to use it in this app with Homey?
Broadlink or Broadcom?
