Well, lot of options make flow cards really messy quick, so i want to do more like:
notification (msg, color, ?icon, ?duration, ?json) - basic one
notificationJson (json) - this one is for advanced users, you must define JSON to be send
same will be for apps… im working with AI now to unify flow cards and cleanup the code a bit… I will release test version today hopefully… source code for app will be available at the day of AwtrixNG release…
Have some inside info, Blueforcer prepare AwtrixNG to public release 
so i guess you will not need to wait for long

Well, i tried to keep some of flows same… (did broke my own flows like 20 times), but it is not simple 
bcouse new AwtrixNG have different API and some stuff are named differently, and i do not want to keep translation layer - that would be like having elephant on my back…

Yep, so far all works, no flows broken (post, json, notifications)
Now, question on the NG variant…the only problem I experienced was random reboots/sometimes, when using animated flash icons notifications…so, what would NG actually bring ? I have seen the fancy announcement, but in reality ?
AwtrixNG is vomplete rewrite, from my testing it is way faster, more stable and quicker responses, no issues with icons so far, so from my point of view, step in right direction… i can tell you, one killer feature that will have zero impact on homey users are scripts, you can write own scripts inside awtrix to perform actions

I have a few questions, but I don’t know if they relate to the Homey app or the Awtrix NG software:
- the order of apps to be displayed on my Ulanzi display is no longer determined by the order in which the applications are defined, but alphabetically by application name
- the prefix of every Awtrix application is “homey-”
- only the first few words of a notification are shown, after which the notification stops and the application next in line is displayed.
- can you give an example of “send raw notification” and when to use it
- in the Awtrix 3 Homey app, the app duration per application was adjustable; this option seems to have disappeared

1, order should be changeble in awtrix, im not sure how to do it in Homey as there is no option to have custom device settings
2, yes, same as in awtrix3, but there was homey: , since awtrixNG have removed “:” from safe characters, i need to modify it
3, add bigger duration, should help

5, right click on message, add duration should be there… i use homey duration now

How to display texts with dynamics length (for example: new headlines)?
Answer
When you enlarge the duration time, this duration is valid for all texts, long and short. The text is repeated if it is shorter than the set time.
A better solution is to set the repeat option to 1. When I use the card below,
I get this error message:
But when I use a Logic card, the repeat option is supported for a notification.
The result is that the texts scrolls one time for the full length, regardless of the length of the text.
This looks like bug i will try to fix it today

I updated my Ulanzi pixel clock from AWTRIX 3 to NG and changed all my existing flows so that they work with the new flowcards and JSON-commands. So far so good 
.
Some observations/questions:
- The AWTRIX 3 device in Homey has a battery capability that shows the battery level in a percentage. The NG devices show no percentage; just ‘OK’. Is is possible to also make available the battery percentage in the NG device tile and as a tag that can be used in flows?
- Same for the lux value of the light sensor.

yes, i can add battery percentage, but many people do not calibrate their battery, so they rely on something that is not true… but yeah, can be added without any issue, i will wait for tokens to reset and push it next iteration.
As for lux value, sadly no… ulanzi has cheap sensor that is not displaying lux, but blueforcer tried to calculate them, in ng this calculation is gone as it was fake value and he refuses to add fake values, so i can give you ldr sensor value, but it is not lux… i belive it is 0-100% value only…

I have calibrated my battery indeed and want to use it in my flows. Light level in percentage is fine. I see indeed dat the AWTRIX NG dashboard page also reports it in %.
mostly fixes and rewrites simplified code etc… but awtrixNG is working with user/pass add something Awtrix3 never accomplished there was several issues with rediscovery…
Awtrix NG has had a few firmware updates the last couple of days. It’s working great now, and much more stable with more options in clear menus. In the previous Awtrix 3 version I had multiple crashes per day.
