Since the update to 7.7.0 I noticed the following with my Altherma 3 heat pump:
-The Homey flow to set the room temperature to 18 degrees at 22:00 is not functional most of the times, the temperature setting on the thermostat and temperature setting displayed in the native Daikin app both stay at 19 degrees (the value set for daytime). However, manually setting the temperature in Homey works fine.
-When setting the room temperature with the native Daikin app, the Daikin thermostat follows, but Homey does not update and keeps displaying the former room temperature setting. Repairing the device makes Homey display the right setting, but only once.
I never had these issues before. I also tried restarting the Homey Daikin app, removing and adding the Daikin heatpump and hot water tank, rebooting Homey, restarting the heatpump by powering off and on. No effect.
Did someone else notice this and solve it?
Nobody??? Here at home the suffering continues…..
Edit: looks like all problems are solved in version 7.7.2.
Edit: unfortunately, the problem still persists. Homey updated twice, now running on v13.0.0.
Check your WiFi / internet. This message means that the Daikin unit has no connection with the Daikin cloud….nothing to do with the homey app,..just reporting with the info provided by the Daikin cloud.
I have a question when you go in the device and then insight thou can see the energy consumption Of the device. Sadly this seems to be cumulative and not the consumption at that moment or day. Find this a bit sad. Is their a way around this? Because when looking at top Consumers then I do just see the day consumption?
As you may have seen, I have developed the Daikin Altherma with ESPAltherma app to connect to our Altherma over the local network using an ESPAltherma, I’ve added a guard to prevent spamming the timeline, see my GitHub repository.
I hope you can add such a guard against spamming, please feel free to reuse my code!
