Love the progress!
pushed 1.3.9 to fix a custom loginscreen, reverted back to original
and waiting first feedback on the HW CT-03-RF and new auth and login process, hoping to have this working shortly as well.
You should then be able to select V1 or V2 in the config but use the same app
Hi @idleprocess_zero !
Any progress around this app? I’m really curious and surely willing to test ![]()
Hi everyone, good news! An official Homey x Watts vision app just launched in the Homey App store: Watts Vision+ | Homey
Hi all,
I am trying to connect the Homey app using the same credentials as in the Watts Vision App on my phone. But no luck. I have now created new credentials on the B2Clogin domain, but how do I connect my system to this? Thanks for the help and happy to see Watts is now averted for Homey!
Ruben
Hi Ruben, do you have any news? my login credentials are not recoginezed
What type / model wifi device do you have?
Hi @idleprocess_zero ,
I was following your great work with the Watts Vision Homey App. For some time I even used it and it was great. Unfortunately I was do dumb to install the “official” Watts Homey app version. Now I can’t login anymore as I only have a BT-CT02 and Watts mailed me that I need a BT-CT03.
Is there any way to make use of your developer version with the old API? It sucks to finally have had a working Watts Vision integration, after which it was taken away again.
Thanks for your reply!
Hi Ingmar,
Sorry was a bit preoccupied with a plugin for my car ![]()
When the official app came out i kind of forgot about this, as it was working for me.
let me dive into dis a bit more in the coming weeks, and for now please use the link below.
Please note that this is a test build version, that will be changed with every new build i am making
Hi idleprocesess_zero,
Thanks so much! I installed the app and everything works fine again. Yeah, Watts wrote that they will only support Vision+ via their BT-CT03 so your app is very helpful.
If there is anything you like me to test, just let me know.
Hi @idleprocess_zero ,
I’ve been using the Watts App. It’s working great! If possible I have some requests:
- In case a thermostat is set to OFF: The displayed set temperature shows 30 degrees. When I open te thermostat, after a couple of seconds it changes to 7 degrees however after a couple of seconds later it refertes back to 30 degrees. As the thermostat is set to OFF, the set temperature should preferably display “–” as in the Watts app.
- This said, it would be great if a Homey card would be available to set the thermostat to COMFORT, PROGRAM, ECO, ANTI FREEZE and OFF. BOOST is already available and turns the thermostat to COMFORT. I suppose for a specific amount of time. Why not use the BOOST function of the thermostat itself?
- It would even be better if it would be possible to change the status of ALL INSTALLATION to the above settings.
Would this be something you could dive into? Happy to test of course.
Boost already uses the thermostat’s native timer. It sends gv_mode 4 (Timer/Boost) with the selected time_boost duration, so it behaves exactly like the thermostat’s built in Boost mode and automatically returns to the schedule when it expires. If preferred, I can also remove the temperature selection from the Boost card so it simply uses the thermostat’s configured boost setpoint. I found the manual entry better myself
Next build anfter return of my vacation will add Set all actions for every mode. You can now apply Comfort, Eco, Schedule, Off, and Anti-freeze across the entire installation with a single tap. ![]()
