I’m trying to add the First Alert SMCO410 Smoke/CO2 Alarm to Homey. It has successfully paired and is connected in Homey, but Homey doesn’t seem to know what kind of device it is. It just says “All Good: This device works fine but you cannot control it.” It also doesn’t receive any alarms from the device. Any thoughts?
It’s likely added as a generic device, the SMCO410 is not yet supported in the First Alert app for Homey. You can contact the app developer here to request support:
Thanks! I have requested that addition. Really want it to work because there are very few options for “smart” smoke/CO2 alarms I trust and I will be adding quite a few through my house if they work.
