Everything looks ok for the initial setup, but I’m not seeing any webhook messages. Maybe you just sent the log to soon. Could you clear the log and then check to see if you get any further messages.
I will clear the log, restart and wait 5 minutes now.
Have sent the log again.
Hmm,I’m not seeing any webhook messages still. I can see the trigger count in the developer portal incrementing and I’m getting notifications, so it’s not completely broken.
If you operate the valve, do you see any webhook messages appear in the log?
Hmm. How do you wish me to test exactly:
Clear the log,
Operate the valve manually
Operate the valve by tile (on/off)
Operate the valve by flow
?
Yep, all of those ![]()
Any change of state should generate a message from the webhook.
Just sent you a new diag log. Out of the blue the tiles are updated, same insights etc. Very strange.
Do we give it a rest or anything else I can contribute?

As far as I can see, it’s all working fine now.
I can understand the previous version not working as the secret codes went missing, probably due to me updating my PC. The codes are not in the repo and when I fetched the code I forgot to restore the file from my backup.
That would have meant the webhook was not working.
If you get any further issues then please let me know, but I think for now we can assume it’s fixed.
It sounds like the root cause, so idd, nothing further Adrian. Thank you so much for your response and support.
Hi again, further to the above, I haven’t received any further errors and things appear to be working quite happily. That’s on v1.0.27, the test / experimental code.
Thanks Adrian!
I have two LinkTap devices that appear correctly in Homey, and I can turn them on/off using the toggle on/off in homey. My flows also work fine and successfully control both devices. Battery status is reported accurately, matching what I see in the LinkTap Android app.
However, all other readings are stuck at “10 days ago” which is roughly when I first added the devices to Homey. The only exception is “water flow,” which shows a value from “7 hours ago,” but that can’t be correct as my sprinklers definitely weren’t running at 2 a.m.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? I’ve already restarted the app, but nothing has changed. The app version is 1.0.26. I’m using Homey Pro 2023.
Thanks.
Anyone able to help with this?
I have the same issue. The only field that is been updated is the flow. All else is at the time the device was added to Homey
It also seems like support here is inconsistent and selective. Since this is an “official” app, I opened a support ticket. The auto-reply says it may take 3–4 business days to hear back. I’ll update here once I receive a response.
Sorry about the delays in support but I have had a lot of personal problems over the last year.
The app is official so it can be used on Homey, but I make the app on behalf of LinkTap with their support.
Could you open the app settings page and select the Diagnostics Log tab then make sure the log is enabled. Next restart the app and wait for a couple of minutes and then go back and send the Log.
Thanks for explaining, and I’m sorry to hear you’ve been dealing with personal challenges. I appreciate the response.
I’ve restarted the app and tried to send the log but I get an error (attached image)?
Cheers,
Alex
P.S. I tried the “Create diagnostics report” option/button and got this code:
fa8689c0-6d88-487f-9ad5-8dcf7d638374
Could you update to the test version to see if that fixes the issue?
Edit: the test version has just gone live
Hi,
I just tried it, and it looks like that resolved about 99% of the issues. The sensors are updating correctly now (it recognizes when the water is on), and my audio notification flows using “When Turned On/Off” are working again. The only thing that still isn’t updating is the “Time Elapsed.”
Thanks!
Edit: “Time Elapsed” did eventually update, though it was about five minutes after the sprinklers had already turned off. The value also wasn’t accurate. I ran the sprinklers for 3 minutes, but “Time Elapsed” showed 1 minute.
Its all fixed at my end. Thanks
