Hi everyone,
I have an Alpha ESS SMILE-G3-T10-INV and I’m using the Alpha ESS app in Homey.
The battery SOC shown in Homey is 90%, but the Alpha ESS app shows the correct value of 28%. So Homey is reading the wrong value.
My settings:
• IP address: 192.168.18.31
• Port: 502
• Interval: 10 seconds
Smart charging for my home battery is not working because of this incorrect SOC reading.
Has anyone solved this issue with the SMILE-G3 model? Are there specific Modbus registers I need to configure?
Thanks in advance!
Homey reports the battery SOC as 90%, while both the Alpha ESS app and inverter show the correct SOC of 28%. Because Homey is receiving an incorrect SOC value, smart charging and battery automation are not working properly.
