I’m looking for an affordable built in ceiling speaker that work with Homey. Does anyone has experience with this?
I know of the Sonos Sonance speakers, but they are €350 for a pair. And from what I read they still need the € 800 AMP to work properly.
I’m just looking for a single ceiling speaker that works with Homey. Or maybe there’s a way to convert a non Homey compatible ceiling speaker to a working Homey compatible spreker?

There are a few Homey apps to control AV receivers. AVRs could be used to control standard ceiling speakers. Of course, you will then need a supported AVR, which will probably not be any cheaper than the Sonos variant.
You mean a Google Nest Mini speaker? Would that work? That would be great. Can it be added to Homey?

The option with the AV controllers is too expensive for me, because I don’t own one.
