Hi,
I have a bunch of KASA switches and plugs. I have the KASA app and the devices also exist in my Apple Home App. Do I have to add each device again in the Homey App so the Homey Pro “sees” them or is there a simple way to copy them to the Homey Pro?

No, unless you have a backup of an other Homey Pro, you’ll have to add each and every item to Homey.
I found out automating my home takes me more time, than just pushing the light buttons a few moments a day
