I have manged to add honey shs to my mac, most of the devices have been added however there are a few things it can’t find all my Shelly devices, which are all WiFi and my Apple TV, which is hardewired. I tried to add them to the web but still no joy.'I do have a UniFi network, are there any settings that I need to change?? All the Shelly devices work with the Shelly app no and Apple TV works with my iPhone with out any issues
Yes I have managed to resolve the issue and the self hosted server is now working on my Mac mini ( intel version) just a few issues with some items that homey won’t find. I have another post relating to this
Good to see you’ve managed to get the local ip address for Homey.
The issue you are describing here is also network related. Somehow Homey is unable to reach the network devices you mention. Have you tried “searching” for the devices? Or also tried to manually add the device (specifying it’s ip address)?
I have searched for the devices, but the homey web app cant find them on the network. It has found everything else, The shelly devices are in the shelly app and I can control them with out any issues
Are those also network (WiFi, LAN) connected devices or do those devices use a different protocol (zigbee, for example or a cloud service (not local network)).
Can you show us the IP address of your phone and the one of HSHS?
Or else, make sure both use the same subnet, f.i. 192.168.1.x or 172.16.10.x or 10.0.0.x and similar → if not, they can’t reach eachother without specific subnet firewall rules.
I suspect you use different vLANs or other network influencing tools.
Can you ping the Shelly devices from Homey by using the Net Scan app?
Which Shelly devices are you referring to exactly? This can clear things up as well.
Thanks for the reply all my devices are on 192.168.1… I use ubiquti for my network all my Sonos devices, my nest door bell and thermostat and my Plex server which runs on my Mac as well as my Meross plugs and light strip. What I can add is my Apple TV which is wired via lan and the Shelly mini gen 3 x 2 my Shelly Rgbw pm and my Shelly 2pm all gen 3. I can see all the devices on my UniFi WiFi man app
I’m not an expert I have tried with docker but it’s telling me it’s running but it’s telling me the below. I’m guessing my Mac is just to old?
This image requires Linux-specific features (DBus, Matter daemon, Avahi) that aren’t available in Docker Desktop. The application is designed to run on a real Linux system, not Docker Desktop on macoS.
