[APP][Pro] Aqara FP2 - Solo
Bring your Aqara FP2 presence sensor into Homey, locally and without Apple Home.

Why use it
- Every zone you draw in the Aqara Home app becomes its own presence status in Homey, plus overall presence and light level
- Runs locally over your own network: no cloud, no Apple device, no extra apps
- Flow cards per zone: presence detected in a zone, a zone became empty, someone is / isn’t in a zone
- Reconnects by itself, and the device can be repaired without breaking your Flows

Installation
The FP2 connects through HomeKit, and a HomeKit device can only have one controller at a time. Most problems come from the FP2 still being paired somewhere else.
- Set up the FP2 and its zones in the Aqara Home app. Homey Pro must be on a network where it can see the FP2.
- Free the FP2 from other HomeKit controllers:
- On iPhone, the Aqara app adds the FP2 to Apple Home automatically. Remove it in the Apple Home app (not in the Aqara app). Check every Apple device and “home” in your household.
- If you used the HomeKit Controller app on Homey for the FP2, delete the FP2 devices there first (HomeKit Controller app works fine, keep it if it works for you!)
- Unplug the FP2 for 10 seconds and plug it back in.
- In Homey: Add device → Aqara FP2 - Solo, choose your FP2, and enter the 8-digit HomeKit code printed above the QR code on the FP2.
Troubleshooting
- “Already connected to another HomeKit controller”: the FP2 is still paired elsewhere (step 2). If you can’t find where, reset the FP2 and set it up again in the Aqara app.
- “Not accepting connections”: the FP2 is restarting or needs a firmware update. Update it in the Aqara app and try again after a few minutes.
- Zone names: they should come from the FP2 itself. Name your zones in the Aqara app and push to homekit. (the zone names is a work in progress, i hope to fix in a later release)
- Removing: deleting the device in Homey releases the FP2, so it can be added again later without a reset.
