YI Camera Local is an independent integration for using a YI Dome 1080p with Homey Pro, without flashing the camera or installing custom firmware.

Setup
Add the YI Dome driver, choose the same account region as in YI Home and sign in with your YI email and password. Select your camera, check its local IP address and confirm the model. The app attempts local address discovery; manual entry remains available. Homey and the camera must share the local network. No Windows assistant is required for this setup.
Your password is not saved. Account tokens and camera session credentials are stored encrypted on Homey. Camera communication is local, but account sign-in and session renewal require the YI service. The app does not record video or audio; snapshots shared through Flows are handled by their destinations.
Compatibility and limitations
Fresh pairing, repair, live video, audio and pan/tilt have been tested with a YI Dome 1080p and a European account on Homey Pro ARM64. North American and Asian/Taiwan account routes are experimental and have not been tested with real accounts. Other models and firmware versions are not guaranteed; Mainland China is not supported.
Local motion detection may react to lighting changes and is not person detection. Two-way talk, zoom, presets, SD-card playback and a hardware privacy switch are not included.

Version 0.5.3 is available as a test release: Install YI Camera Local (test).
