[APP][Pro][Test] NerdAxe Monitor – testers wanted

Hi Homey Community,

I have published the first test version of NerdAxe Monitor, a community app for monitoring NerdAxe, Bitaxe and compatible AxeOS/ESP-Miner devices from Homey Pro.

The app runs locally on Homey and connects directly to the miner’s /api/system/info endpoint. No vendor cloud account, external backend, analytics or tracking is used.

Current features

  • Pair a miner by local IP address or hostname
  • Add and monitor multiple miners
  • Show hashrate, power consumption, ASIC temperature, VRM temperature, Best Difficulty and online status
  • Configure the polling interval and preferred hashrate period
  • Detect outages reliably and recover automatically when the miner becomes reachable again
  • Trigger Flows when:
    • a miner goes offline
    • a miner comes back online
    • a new Best Difficulty is reached
    • the ASIC temperature crosses a configurable threshold
    • the VRM temperature crosses a configurable threshold

The current test version is 0.1.2 and targets Homey Pro. It was initially developed and tested on a Homey Pro 2019.

Source code and issue tracker

The app is open source and released under the MIT License.

I am especially looking for feedback from users with different NerdAxe, Bitaxe and compatible ESP-Miner models. Please test pairing, multiple miners, temporary API or network outages, settings and Flow triggers.

If you report an issue, please include your Homey model and Homey OS version, miner model, AxeOS/ESP-Miner firmware version, whether you paired by IP address or hostname, and the exact error or unexpected behaviour. Please do not post pool passwords, wallet credentials or other secrets.

Thanks for testing!
