Eltako - Switching on the future

By using the Eltako EOA64 EnOcean Adapter, you can also connect any EnOcean device to Homey using Matter Bridge functionality. All devices will work, but these devices specifically are currently recognized by the app and will get a custom device icon:

  • Motion/Brightness/Temperature sensor FBHT55ESB-wg (needs firmware v2.4.0)

  • Temperature/Humidity Sensor FTFSB-wg (needs firmware v2.4.0)

  • Window/Door Contact FTKB-wg (needs firmware v2.4.0)

  • Water Leakage Sensor FWS81 (needs firmware v2.4.0)

"Hi everyone,

First of all, it’s great to see an official Eltako app for Homey!

However, I have a question regarding the Series 14 (RS485 bus) systems. Many of us have a full DIN-rail installation centered around the FAM14 module. While the app seems to focus heavily on the new Series 64 (Matter) and standalone EnOcean devices, I was wondering what the roadmap is for existing Series 14 users.

Specifically:

  1. Is there (or will there be) official support for the FGW14-USB gateway to bridge the RS485 bus directly to the Homey Pro?

  2. If not, is there an alternative ‘official’ way planned to integrate the wired Series 14 actuators (like FSR14, FUD14) into Homey without replacing the hardware with Series 64?

Currently, there is a lot of uncertainty about whether the FAM14 can be reliably connected to this new app. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated!"
