thank you!

Thanks;
I have 2 remarks:

I would like to be able to select the status indicator. Currently it is fixed to the target temperature and i would like to see the current temp.

The target temp is shown white on black:

(Yes, the target temp is indeed 4 degrees :slightly_smiling_face:; I use the atagone only as a reference since i switched to an airco for heating)

Update. Seems my Atag One has no connection /ip address at this time a reoccuring issue here no clue why butbseems re disconnect and reconnect again after a while(hours) wifi mesh is within 2 meters and speial iot setup with 2.4ghz so no clue but has been like this for years so will not help with the app linking for sure.

Hallo, thanks for recreating this.

On the first installation it all worked and connected and was able to change the tempature. As soon I tried to test it outside my home wifi network it failed and now i can nolonger connect even within the wifi home network. When re installing I now get below error. Thanks for looking into it. Kind regards Axel

Connection error: connect

EHOSTUNREACH:192.168.1.92:10000

Hi @TonS,

This is my first Homey app and I had to look into this. It seems the thermostat devices do not support the implementation of other status indicators.

Kind regards,
Alwin

Hi @Axel_Aardoom ,

I’ll implement a retry method in the app. This will hopefully make interruption on the ATAG One app less visible.

Kind regards,
Alwin

Solved, Thanks

Hello,
When trying to add the device to Homey I get:

Connection error: connect ECONNREFUSED

Im sure I have the right IP adress and MAC adress.

EDIT: I realized that I have ATAG One Zone, i guess thats different than ATAG One 2.0?

Hi Autogedrocht,

Thanks for your message. Good to hear you already checked that the IP address and MAC address are correct. Besides those, the device name and email address also need to be exactly the same as configured on your ATAG One device.

If you could try that and let me know if it works afterwards, we can take it from there.

Kind regards,
Alwin

Update:
I created a setup file. Hope this will help:

Hello Ats,

I only have ATAG Zone App, which is different.

Are you sure it should work on ATAG One Zone?

Cause if I look into the Zone App, and I use the device name and email, I still get connection refused.

EDIT: what should the device name usually be like anyway? more like a serial number or device number, or the name who bought it.

Thanks in advance

Hi @Autogedrocht ,

Thanks for your message.

The app is only available and tested for the ATAG One 2.0. The ATAG One and ATAG Zone may look the same, but under the hood they work very differently. The ATAG One is controlled by Homey over the local network. As far as I can see, this isn’t possible for the ATAG Zone without additional hardware.

I don’t have an ATAG One Zone myself, so I’m not able to develop or test/support for it at this moment.

If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know.

Thanks for you reply, too bad this doenst work on the ATAG One Zone.

I’m waiting for years on this kinda app, cause the old one isnt supported by Homey 2023.

Im not doubting your knowledge, but what is so difference in the devices? They surely have other data which results in other cards. But most of the cards on the One are also on the Zone One like waterpressure, temperature etc.

The Zone is used for a Hybrid heating system, so 50% should work :upside_down_face: .

Is this something ATAG themselves could support or maybe Athom?
