For the last couple of months, I have received a lot of crashes. I can’t solve this problem because it is a problem on the Toshiba side. Secondly, the app has had no major changes for the last half year.
I cannot reproduce it myself, but is anybody noticing the crashes and can tell me at when it happens?
How to use flow cards?
When using “then” cards in flow to change something in one of the capabilities of the AC, changes are only send to the AC by using the “Send to AC” card.
So first you have to set the values and at the end send them to the AC:
Hello, I just posted on your github this exact problem.
Since yesterday the app randomly crashes. Sometimes the ACs appears as unavailable and on the device detail on Homey it says “app unavailable”.
After rebooting the Toshiba app everything works fine.
It happened 4 times in 2 days, I’m able to tell that something went wrong because I programmed my ACs with flows and when the app crashes the flows stop working, but I cannot tell exactly why or when it happens.
Hi!
I just tried to install the app, when trying to login it gives me the error:
Error: header name must be a non empty string.
Is there anything i’m doing wrong?
Same here
I haven’t seen any crashes the last 5 days, so I guess Toshiba has solved the problem… Let’s just monitor.
Same here, everything seems to be working fine now
@Monique_Jilesen thanks for the great app, works very well. Is it possible to add any kwh info, like in the Toshiba Android/IOS app. Would be great if it was possible to get it into the new Homey Energy Tab.
Yes - this is a request that definetly should make be made!
I’m working on it and have something working but my AC’s don’t support the Energy part in the Toshiba app.
Is somebody who has a unit that support Energy consumption willing to share his Toshiba login with me so I can debug? Preferabley a unit that is running (almost) the whole day.
I will only read data and not make any changes.
I can also make a test version and then I need some testers, but the first version will have some major bugs in it
Dont know if I can give you my login. But i can definitely try the test version. My unit is on 24/7
I can share my Login Monique, I send u a message
Thank you @Art_Vandelay for sharing your login
I have published a test version of the app where the AC(s) can be seen in the Energy tab of Homey. I have left the capability “Energy consumption last hour” in, but removed the daily one.
Energy values are read every 5 minutes…
I want to monitor the values for then next couple of days but feel free to install it too (and @Art_Vandelay, please don’t change your password until this version is live).
Thanks! Had to remove and add the device to get the kWh readings. Seems to be working, it shows in the Homey Energy tab
I have found bug (energy should always go up, but when you go from one day to the next this does not happen). I wil fix it asap.
I also noticed that, but I think restarting Homey will do the trick…
First: Thank you Monique for developing this! Will be great.
However, I only get my Toshiba Shorai Edge AC to turn up in the energy segment, I also have a Toshiba Daisekai that does not show up? Why? They are both working fine in the Toshiba Home App displaying energy consumption and everything.
I had to delete the device and re-connect it, now it works!
