There is a strange drop every night, is this the bug you are talking about?
Yes, hope to solve it somewhere next week
I have published the final version of the Energy part. It is waiting on approval from Homey.
@Art_Vandelay: you can reset your password. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Monique for you good work!
Hello! Since the last update my ACs have been reporting the wrong readings of the current outside temperature (always reporting -2°C) and the energy consumption part doesnât work. Iâve seen that you suggested to re-add the units but I created a lot of flows with all kinds of settings and re-pairing them would mean to redo everything.
I tried to use the ârepairâ function by right clicking the device but after I enter my Toshiba credentials it gives an error saying that they are not correct (even if they are).
Any suggestion?
- did you see the âoldâ energy usage (per day/ per hour) where you also see the outside temperature of your device?
- in the current status screen, do you see âEnergy usage in kilowatt-hour (kWh)â?
If you see point 2 but donât see it in the Energy dashboard, it is a Homey issue. In my case it helped to re-start Homey (and not just the app).
I havenât really implemented the repair functionalilty, it doesnât do anythingâŠ
For the temperature issue, I donât have an explation except that I see crashed in the log of the app. Did you turn on the logging features of the app? I have made this a little bigger and now some people run out of memory causing the app to crash. In the next release, I will make the number of logging entryâs smaller.
This is what I see from the details of the unit. The energy consuption last hour is always 0.
Regarding the outside temperature it was my bad. It works only when the ACs are powered on (like in the Toshiba App), when they are off it reports â-â or sometimes â-2°Câ.
Anyway even if you havenât implemented the repair functionality it gives me the option to repair them and asks for my credentials, but for some reason they wont work even if they are correct.
It would be super useful to implement the repair function, so if something happens that requires the ACs to be paired again we can just use that without loosing all the settings in the flows
Current room temperature and outside temperature has not updated since 29 des. Selected temperature and Energy reports works fine. Have tried to restart the app.
Edit: Started to update again today
Hello, My Haori unit only supports whole increments. While the Homey Toshiba app shows half (0,5) increments. Is it possible to change the app to whole increments to match the Haori system?
Thanks ![]()
Hello,
Yesterday, after a power outage, all our 5 airco units were not controllable by Homey anymore. When I tried to open the devices, Homey states that their app is not present. With the Toshiba native app all is OK. So I removed the Toshiba app and reinstalled it. But now I cannot add any airco unit and get an error as if I connected to the server too many times. See picture. Is there a solution for this?
Same here. First time installation.
Tried:
- Wait a few hours between attempts
- Homey on home WiFi, phone (android) on mobile data
- Change password via native Toshiba app
- Airco on while connecting/airco off while connecting
No luck so far.
Same here also.
Thanks, good to know iâm not alone on this :-)![]()
Same problem for me too.
Yep, also here, things were working until Homey reboot, and now I have the same issue. I notified @Monique_Jilesen (app developer).
Yep got the same problem. A reinstall didnât work. Axios Errors
Hi Monique, hi all,
I found a likely cause for the current login failures.
Since around 17 July 2026, the Toshiba/Carrier cloud appears to require a Device-ID HTTP header during authentication. Requests without this header are reportedly rejected with HTTP 429 Too Many Requests (source: Home Asistant integration, where they had similar issues).
This matches the current Homey behaviour:
- all existing Toshiba devices suddenly became unavailable;
- the official Toshiba Home AC Control app required a new login;
- the Homey app shows App Unavailable;
- adding a new device hangs before the login screen appears;
- restarting Homey or reinstalling does not solve it.
The Home Assistant Toshiba AC integration has reportedly restored login by generating, storing and sending a stable Device-ID with the cloud requests.
It therefore seems likely that the Homey app needs the same change in its Axios/API headers, especially for the authentication request.
Hope this will also bring a solution for Homey users too,
Br Henk.
Strange, no issues here. I had to login again on the Toshiba app, but on Homey it just kept working.
Until the next reboot Iâm afraid. So keep it running ![]()
