[APP][Pro] Microsoft To Do - To Do gives you focus, from work to play

Hi all

Microsoft To Do is now available in app store.

Install the app. Add device: Microsoft To Do. Sign-in/Authenticate with Microsoft account. Select your account. Add card to flow where you name the task you want to add and then select the list of which the task will be added.
This app is for personal accounts. Maybe organization-accounts are supported as well (you tell me).

Microsoft To Do is an awesome app for both desktop and mobile.

Please bring feature requests or constructive feedback.

New version is out.

Features:

  • Refresh token
  • Card with note
  • Card with advanced features (feature-rich)
  • Capability: “Connected”, as in is your account connected or does ‘device’ need repair.
  • Option support for “connected” check. Every full hour, device will check connected state.

With this version, you might need to remove the device and add again.

Enjoy.

Hi!

Any idea on how to add tasks in a specific To Do-list by using Google Assistent? For instance, “Hey Google, add Milk to Groceries”.

Sorry, I have no clue

works great. One thing I’m curious about is the timezone which is used. If I add a task for tomorrow at 6 am, it appears in my todo list as a task for 7 am. Is the deviation standard 1 hour ?

Hi @Walter_vande_kerkhof , where are you located and what timezone is your default?

Hi @Walter_vande_kerkhof I’ve just pushed a new version of the app, where I’ve added support for custom Timezone. Default is UTC.

I did try with my locale but with no luck - maybe you are able to find valid values for the timezone to match your locale:

The update has been pushed for verification. After release, TimeZone is available under settings for the “to-do” device.

My timezone is CE(S)T /Amsterdam

Check and see if you can set a correct timezone.

How about a when card

When «New item added to (choose list)»

Thanks for the app!

Hi @Bent_Ole_Davidsen, clever thinking

I don’t see how this is possible atm, because the app then needs to hook up on events from the CloudEvents which I am not familiar with in terms of listening/subscribing through Homey.

Tried but no result. Maybe i did something wrong. I tried UTC+01:00 but still 1 hour difference

Hi @Walter_vande_kerkhof , I have some updates.

I decided to move timzone convertion, because Microsoft TODO api only supports UTC - so decided to move convertion to client.

Please update the app with the test version and find your correct timezone from this website:
https://momentjs.com/timezone/

Move the cursor on the map to reveal most fitted timezone for you.

App release is in verification process.

Hi @Kim_Kokholm , thank you for the effort. This version works for me :facepunch:

Nice app! Would it be possible to add a task to My Day when it is created?

Hi, I’ve tried to translate your message with google translate. Are you using the new “Dashboard” in Homey? From there you would like a list of tasks to be shown?
The app does not support this, it only supports “creating tasks” - reading available tasks from a given list is not yet supported.
Is it this feature that you are looking for?

Hmmm - I will try and look into it. Don’t know how its working - but will give it a try at some point.

Hiiu Kim, it’s my idea to show the list of tasks in mij homey dashboard. Maybe it can with a app in an other screen?

Can you please try this out? Its the new test-version with Widget support.
