Widget requests

Hi there,

I’m absolutely thrilled with the new dashboard feature. It works fantastically! I understand that a lot of effort is currently being put into developing new widgets. I’d love to share a few suggestions. Perhaps we can use this post to gather multiple widget requests?

Here we go:

  • Shared Family Calendar (we use iCloud shared calendar, ICS for example.),
  • Traffic situation to work address,
  • Indicator for Scraping car windows during frost,
  • Countdown clock to a special (customizable) moment,
  • Photo frame widget that can be linked to iCloud Family Album, Google Photos, or similar, displaying random photos from that album,
  • Spotify player

Once again, I understand that a lot of effort is being put into creating widgets. I greatly appreciate the effort from the community, as I have two left hands when it comes to programming. Please see this post primarily as inspiration for new widgets.

I submitted a update for schoolvakanties where you can add a widget with a countdown. You can add custom holidays / events here.

Is there is widget for controlling shutters ? Would like to have the Up and Down buttons on the widget.
