I’m a current user of Homey Bridge + Premium, and want to explore the options/benefits of the SHS (latency/local). Installing the SHS was straight foreward, but now i need to connect my Bridge… but i cannot find it… when i add device or try to use the link app it tries to connect to itself… I have 2 seperate homey’s now instead of 1…
My bridge is currently connected to my cloud/premium account.. does that mean i have to reset/ my bridge or something? will i then lose all my premium settings? i’m would like to try the 30day period before going all in and recreating all flows… (from what i understand from other topics… you cannot move/migrate from premium to pro)
i am doing exactly thecsame, move from cloud premium and homey pro 219 to shs.
its a manual process, but i did not want big bang approach, so i bought a second bridge and per zwave,zigbee,433 i move the devices over.
for zigbee, i implemented a second network on a different zigbee channel, so both the cloud based and the shs + new bridge based zigbee can coexist during migration.
zwave is a pain….
i have both systems linked with webhooks during the migration. 250 devices, 100 flows or so…..
the good thing is that i build it from the ground up, more efficient flows this time.
You can remove the Bridge from your Homey Cloud (do NOT remove your Homey Cloud instance)
To do this, go to the Devices tab, long press your Bridge and click on the settings in the top right corner. Here you can remove it. Your settings will stay in Homey Cloud if you ever want to reconnect the Bridge to it
The Bridge itself will now be reset, and you can pair it again in SHS.
