Spotify and Google connect?

I’m thinking of buying a smarty.

Using a spotify account, will I be able to stream music directly to a Chromecast, without any other hardware, such as a mobile phone or computer that is actually providing the music to the speaker. I have had a hard time solving this with other solutions, such as home-assistant and it’s not very clear in the docs how this works in Homey.

I’m not sure but don’t think so, but since they dropped speach devolpment I got a Google Home for that, and Spotify and Google home works perfectly.

what does it look like in spotify on another device when you trigger a playing from homey, could someone post a screenshot, it would be very helpful, thx!
