I just got mine NS Panel pro, was able to do all the setup to get adb running, and it seems to work, however I am not able to install a native homey app via adb (it does not show in the launcher), and installing it via the ā€œaptiodeā€ store, it does install however the latest version (Feb. 4 2025) crashes.

I am also not able to install the Smartdash (canā€™t find an .apk) only a xapk.

-edit:
Iā€™ve managed to install the xapk, the app starts but then displays a warning on the nspanel pro that Google Plays is not enabled, and therefore does not startā€¦

Any suggestions for me? Thanks!

I tried doing the same, but with the currently latest version of Homey (9.4.2), but it fails to work correctly. I can install the apk, but it simply wonā€™t load. Any other insights on this, as which versions do work, or how to install the latest correctly?

Could you explain what digging and how you resolved it? Iā€™m happy you were able to install and run, but that does not help others.

For those who were struggling like me, here is how:

Make sure you have the adb tool ready to use. You can download the tool from Sideload Apps to Sonoff NSPanel Pro | Blakadderā€™s Smarthome Shenanigans
Make sure you have the latest version of the NSPanel SW installed through the root panel tools: seaky/nspanel_pro_roottool_apk

Install the root panel tools on the device:
.\adb.exe install nspanel-pro-roottools-1.0-release.apk

Download the latest version of the Sonoff SW OTA versions: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1bHLLJy8vYUjkCCnyUmrHgEFWi_2cxywv

Push the downloaded SW to the device:
.\adb.exe push CoolKit_Sonoff_480P_20240306_3.0.0-ota.zip /storage/emulated/0/system_update.zip

The Homey app is in xapk format, youā€™ll need an installer for that: XAPK Installer 4.6.4.1 (nodpi) APK Download by TarrySoft - APKMirror
.\adb.exe install -r xapkinstaller_4.6.4.1.apk

Download the Homey app and push it to the device: Homey ā€” A better smart home 8.2.2 APK Download by Athom B.V. - APKMirror
.\adb.exe push ā€œHomey ā€” A better smart home_9.4.2_APKPure.xapkā€ /storage/self/primary/Download/Homey.xapk

This will place the xapk in the Download folder.

Start the XAPK installer and install Homey
