I’m not aware of any eletronic mouse traps. But maybe you can use your current trap, and extend it with a motion sensor inside, or with a door/window contact sensor for the trap “door”.

Just saw they are discontinuing the app notifications for these smart mouse traps in Dec 2025 , so they’re basically becoming the same thing as their dumb electric-traps that cost a fraction of the price.

Right? So glad I paid extra for the Wi-Fi feature to get the notifications - for like 2 years maybe :confused:. Now I have a worse trap than the others because the battery is still powering the Wi-Fi connection that isn’t being used for anything anymore, so it’ll die faster than the other non-Wi-Fi …

Let me know if you find a good alternative. I actually don’t use Homey (I use Home Assistant), but this was the only thread I could find anywhere talking about smart mouse traps, lol.
