I’ve made a simple flow to turn on a LED stipe if the blinds are down and the TV is on.
The flow should read the variable value set by the Shelly 2PM and turn on/off the LED stripe depending on the state of the blinds.
It works as a charm when turning on and off the TV, however when changing the blind’s position while the TV is on, the flow is not reacting.
In the inserted image I’ve marked the flows that work with a green check mark and the one not working as supposed with a red cross.
What am I missing here? Should be straight forward I guess…
Where and at what time in your set of flows do you set the Lounge_RS_Pos variable? Perhaps you can share a screenshot of that part of the flow as well?
The logic card that tests the ‘Turned on’ value: I assume this is the status of the LG TV?
You want to trigger the top line with a variable. This can’t be the blinds position, because that’s only available as tag
(tag = not user controlled system or app variable).
To trigger on blinds position, you’d start with something like this:
Thanks @SunBeech, you made me think twice and @Peter_Kawa served the solution on a plate
…this now works when I change the position of the blinds in the Homey App but when I use the wall switch the flow is not triggered…
When you connect notification cards (same way like I showed) after the “TV on” and “TV off” triggers, and after the “position is less than 0.5” logic card, you can see what and where things (don’t) happen.
Thanks - got it working. Seems like there were a glitch in the 2PM. Ran a calibration and after that it worked again… Seems like these Shelly devices are living their own lives from time to time…
