Hi. I am using a Shelly Smart Plug and I want to use it with a different device so I want the total Energy used (in KWh) to reset. Can I do that in the Homey App? Because I also can’t do it in the Shelly app.
If you can’t do that within the Shelly mobile app, then you likely can’t reset it within Homey either.
But have you checked Settings → Maintenance for the device in Homey?
Well, if you don’t mind pairing it again a factory reset might do the trick too
It gets interesting. I reset the device. In Shelly the usage of the last month is 0. I can’t look further back. I removed the plug van Homey and reconnected it. It still gives the same total usage as before… Beats me. Any thoughts?
There are two things:
- The current kWh value shown on the sensors tab of the device in Homey;
- The Insights (history of all recorded values) in Homey (of which you are showing the above screenshot).
What is the current value shown on the sensors tab? That should have been reset to 0.
You can remove the Insights (history) via the web app:
The history will be automatically recreated when the kWh value is updated. You might need to restart the Shelly app in Homey.
