The unit is constucted on top of a window to allow for ventilation and is controlled by a Z-wave CO2 sensor or manually by a Z-wave controller (like Homey or Fibaro). I am looking to have it controlled thru Homey. In the HC2 unit of Fibaro the unit can be included to the system as a dimmer and also a temperature sensor is recognised. An implementation of RS-232 control for Home Assistant exists already:
RS-232 commands and response format is the same for IP.
Commands will be accepted via TCP port 9590, and the unit will send responses back via
the same port. The command and response format is identical to the serial commands.

Happy to test with my device, this project is pretty straightforward given existing development and easy access to protocol and information.

Extra information:
Other units are also available for control, so this app has the potential to be expanded to an entire product line without too much extra work. I am not a professional installer, otherwise I would offer to support this project financially but I can see the potential given this high end brands position in the market place.
