I’m a huge fan of advanced flows, but also a big mobile user. Every time something doesn’t go as planned I open the Homey app and use the timeline as a debug mode. Sometimes I can see what causes the error, but not always. I understand that it’s hard to make the advanced flows working on mobile. But it should be possible to view them at least. As in ex. a screenshot of the advanced flow so I can follow it myself.
.
Just open Homey in your browser
100% agree with this! As a new homey user setting up flows, most require advanced flows and if one fails its frustrating not being able to view it easily to see what might be wrong.
Would make things much easier to be able to at least be able to see what is in the flow even if to not edit it.
I have tried this but its really clunky on mobile and the screen wont move around for me so i can normally only see the first step!
You have to enable “Desktop mode” with mobile browsers!
And adding a trackpad/mouse is really handy. Functionality is divided by touch and mouse commands
Yeah I’ve tried that, portrait mode is really not great, landscape works a little bit better. I suppose on an iPad it’s useable.
But the point is rather than having to do this workaround would be nice to have something more usable in the app! Feels like a bit of a disjointed experience that some things are completely inaccessible in the app.
With mouse & touch (you’ve to aim well) you can drag the sidebar to the left to create a bigger canvas.
I’m still waiting for a simple (un)collapse button just like this one:
A (un)collapse button will already make a good difference indeed!
