Request for Norwegian Bokmål Language Support in Homey App

Dear Athom Support Team,

I am a Homey Pro user from Norway and I appreciate the effort put into localizing the Homey app for Norwegian users. However, I have noticed that when selecting Norwegian as the language, the interface is displayed in Nynorsk. While Nynorsk is a valid form of Norwegian, Bokmål is more widely used by the majority of Norwegians, including myself, in daily life and in most technological interfaces.

I would like to kindly request the addition of Norwegian Bokmål as a separate language option in the Homey app. This would make the user interface more intuitive and accessible for a larger group of Norwegian users who primarily use Bokmål. I believe many other users share this preference, as I have seen similar feedback in the Homey Community Forum.

Thank you for considering this request. I look forward to any updates regarding language support, and I’m happy to provide further feedback if needed. Keep up the great work with Homey!

Best regards,
oysteinjha

Interesting.
I was immediately curious what, for instance, Deepl uses, and look! It’s Bokmål

There must be something else going on, because I have Norwegian language and do not se any trace of Nynorsk. A little bit of English here and there, but not Nynorsk.

So, if you check latest activities on one of your devices, it doesn’t say activated/deactivatet X “dagar”, “timar”, “måneder” “sidan”?

Yes, it is, good observation. Then you should send a E-mail to Athom and specify that the “time since” in a capability is wrong. Preferably with a screenshot of the issue.
