Recording RF signal

how do i connect a switch/relay to my ventilation system? do you have a build guide or an example that i can copy?

Have a look at:
this topic is about RF signals, please search for “ventilation” for the right topic.

Ehh started the topic myself… if its not possible fine but that doesnt mean my problem still stands

Why is this impossible?

If this is still about recording RF signals then no problem. If it’s about connecting a switch/relay to ur ventilation system then it becomes off-topic and u best search the forum for the correct topics for this particular issue. Or follow the link @JPe4619 gave u.

it is not impossible i guess? but im not thát technical… no clue what to buy and how to set it up…

I have the same problem trying to connect the homey to my wave kitchen design hood. I have tried this using a broadlink RM device, however the wave hood lamp operates on a long press of the light button which I can’t manage to get the broadlink RM to learn. Did you finally found a solution to connect your wave hood to momey?

Hi, I’ve used a Broadlink RMPro. I’ve used Homey to learn the codes in the Broadlink and made buttons in the Homey to send the correct codes to the Broadlink. Works fine. It’s just that the Homey sometimes looses the Broadlink codes and I have to start over again. That’s so strange.
But overall: works fine.

Seems strange to me that there is no easy wat to catch the 433 MHz codes so they’re directly usable in an app.

That is also what I have tried, however I can’t seem to be able to learn the BroadLink RM Pro the long pressing of the light on button to goto dimmed mode when switching on the light of the hood. How did you manage to learn the long press of a button on the wave design hood?
