New app Panasonic Comfort Cloud

I have the same issue

does it work in the offical comfort cloud app on the phone?

Yes,

It works.

that does not make any sense, it auths agains the same Panasonic API hmm?

Do you click continue after inserting credentials or "Sign in " below the credential fields?

Version 2.1.9 is published and in review. There might be a gift for you in the changelog

I’ve pressed continue because it was covering the sign in button. Now I pressed the small part I saw of the sign in button and now it works

Thank you so much!

Hello Johnny,

You keep amazing us.
We’ve been waiting for this app I think for nearly 2 years.
From the outside it looks if it doesn’t cost you any effort at all, just how quickly you solve problems or add possibilities.
Surely I tested the fan position and wasn’t surprised to see everything works as it should..
Thanx for all you’re effort.

Maybe you could add a line in the introduction of you’re app that it also works for heatpumps and air-conditioners.

Kind regards, Dj.

So it was that easy :joy: now it works for me aswell. Thx for quick replies!

Thank you for kind words!

I think its awesome that you guys find this app usefull. I was annoyed when i bought a Homey and a new heat pump at the same time and the darn things didnt talk with each other. It was never my intention to publish this on the app store but things escalated

It would be cool to hear in what creative ways you guys are using the app with flows and automations!. I have not set up any automations yet myself. Hoping it gets warm enough in norway to turn it off soon =)

Was testing this new app out to see if it could help me make my current HP workflows more stable.
On thing I noticed that the app is not supporting the pure Fan mode.
Instead it translate that to Automatic.
Is it possible to also add support for the Fan mode?

hmm, pure fan mode? what does that translate to in the official panasonic comfort cloud app?

What heat pump model do you have?

This repo (used by the CLI APP) supports fan mode and may be helpful as a reference: GitHub - marc2016/panasonic-comfort-cloud-client: Panasonic Comfort Cloud Client for node.js to control air conditioning systems over REST API. ¡ GitHub

Hee Johnny,

I ran into one more problem,
When you look at my Flow, I want the Flap in the most up position,
In reality it looks loke it goes into the bottom position.
Is this only an Airco problem ?

My flows for now ;

Excellent work. The app worked on first try. I used the community app previously, since I could never get the other official app to work. So, great to finally have an official app that works! I have the Panasonic in a winter house, and when not there I use the +8/15C Heat mode. I have not found this mode in any of the apps, including yours, but maybe it is possible to add?

The explanation of the mode is this:

Key Features of Panasonic +8/15°C Heat Mode:

  • Temperature Range: Set between 8.0°C and 15.0°C using the temp up/down buttons while in this mode.

  • Fan Speed: The indoor fan typically locks to a high speed (Hi) to distribute heat efficiently, often regardless of the standard fan settings.

  • Controls: Enabled via a dedicated “+8/15°C HEAT” button on the remote, or via the Panasonic Comfort Cloud app by navigating the menu.

  • Restrictions: Powerful and Quiet modes are disabled while this mode is active.

  • Operation: The heat pump runs on heating, ensuring the heat exchanger does not

It would be great if this is possible to add, lust like the other modes

I will look into this. Might be a simple bug!

A great suggestion. Il see what i can do!

I updated the app with new features and fixed the swing bug, added flow cards for auto swing left right and up down, also added these as toggles in the app. Sent for review. version 2.1.10

Fan Mode has been added to version 2.1.11. When 2.1.10 is approved i will publish 2.1.11 for review which will include flow card and toggle for Fan mode.

Goodmorning Johnny,

unfortunately it looked like my flow did not run this morning,
I found out that Homey could not connect to my airco’s,
I tried restarting the app, tried restarting Homey,
unfortunately this did not solve the problem.
The official Panasonic Comfortcloud android app (Not Homey) can connect to my airco’s.

Any suggestions ?

Kind regards, Dj.

wierd, did not change any authentication. Works fine on my end. Have you tried reinstalling just for testing purposes?
