Hey guys, I thought about buying a Marstek Venus battery to complement my Solar Panels. I’ve got 5,8 kW panels on the roof which are connected to a Kostal inverter (no other battery yet).
The Kostal inverter is connected to my Homey Pro via the SolarEdge APP and TCP Modbus. I’ve also got a Smart Meter from my energy supplier and I’am using an additional Tibber Pulse. With the Tibber Pulse I am able to see my overall energy consumption, energy prices for the hour as well as how much energy I am selling to the provider in my Homey.
Now, I’ve seen that there are several Marstek Apps available for Homey. I’d like to configure the battery in a way that it’s charged via unused solar and discharged when I don’t produce any solar (or especially when there are high energy prices).
Would this be possible with any of the Homey Apps (maybe via Flows) without having an extra energy meter just for the Marstek installed? Thanks!
